Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did Rooney get the assist for that??:P

United won't get away with only 2 midfielders playing this season, expect them to switch to a 3 in the middle when Scwein is fit and Pedro is signed with Mata probably missing out.

Spurs have lost their heads after starting so well.

Not a fan of all this "Memphis" stuff, regardless of what he has written on his shirt.

Not impressed with spurs so far. Although it's probably too early to say whether they'll challenge Liverpool for fifth. I still think Liverpool have what it takes to make that fifth place their own.

He does look good. I liked him at the last World Cup. Brings some much needed pace to the United front line.

I do think that, as is the case nowadays with good young players and the Premier League, this is a stepping stone to Barca or Real in 2/3 years

Very impressed with the tempo of utd, they're not giving spurs a second it the last 20 minutes or so.

Schneiderlins longs balls out wide are exquisite.

Stoke will beat Liverpool tomorrow and you'll be redoing your calculations ;)

Convention is clearly to call players by their surname. He's consistently been referred to as Depay for the past few years.

By all means bring him on at half time but this midgame rubbish is stupid.

Convention? That's rich considering your avatar.

The guy has a right to be call whatever he chooses. Especially given how he feels about his father.

Memphis plays the sexyball but Darmian is putting on an exhibition in Italian defending. Beautiful.

United will win this comfortably. 3-0.

I was hoping Darmian would do a Raf vs QPR job on that!

It should be called Webb Cam.

He's explained why he uses his first name. He has (to my knowledge) always had Memphis on his jersey and prefers to be called by that. Look at when he was at the World Cup. Memphis on the back.

Ronaldo uses his middle name, Rivaldo and Juninho used their first, Ronaldinho a nick name. I honestly don't understand why anyone would have any problems or "not be a fan" of which name someone rathers people call them by. Really is nit picking in my view.

Think Schneiderlin has been poor so far.

All convention is bad because I'm supportive of same sex marriage. Nice argument.

Amazing how this game has changed since the goal. From being totally dominant Spurs can barely string 2 passes together. Good pressing from United is undoubtedly helping with this

so you ignore all the rest? Your posts on this matter are clearly bollox, "not a fan" of it, well boo hoo.

He wants to be called that, who do you think you are to complain about that?

The reasons are pretty clear too, and more than acceptable.

Funny, never seen you moaning about Ronaldo and all the other players who don't go by their surnames. Weird.

Darmian is sensational and Schneiderlin is not far behind . Utd in total control since the goal . Another top class center forward and this team will be

    very hard to beat .

Actually, they're really not. Commentators gave no background. He's consistently referred to as Depay by pundits and newspapers. I've no knowledge of the background of it.

No problem with what he puts on his shirt. Commentators breaking convention without any background info is the issue.
