Smalling did well but Valencia is came out rather quick and left loads of space there. I'd be concerned about our right side for last few minutes, hopefully we hold out for the win

Apart from his kicking being dodgy at times Romeros had pretty good debut overall.

Sick in bed so have missed most of the match so far by the looks of it the keeper has done well so far but jebus this 4-5-1 muppetry is hopefully a once off this season, we need Cillessen, Pedro and a top quality defender brought in asap.

Harry Kane seems to have been non existent for Spurs, lets not buy him so.

To be honest most fans just wanted a good start result wise. 3 points and injury free are the main things and they were achieved. First game of the season of course won't be firing at all cylinders

Looks like it's gonna be the same United as last year. If they don't improve on their players in the top half of the pitch, they're gonna struggle against the lower sides again.

Good start - no real standout performances but United looked very comfortable for long, long stretches of the game. All the new players all did well. Got the result from what could have been a tricky game.
