Laptop and monitors

    I'm looking for advice regarding connecting 2 x monitors to my laptop.

    I have a Dell XPS (702x model). I'm thinking about attaching 2 monitors to it, so that I can used it as a multiscreen machine. I was wondering what people;s experiences of doing this were, and what worked best.

    The main specs are:

    i-7 2nd gen
    GEFORCE GT 555M
    8MB RAM
    17.3" display

    I was thinking of attaching either:
    2 standard monitors, like a Dell E2014H 19.5"
    2 SaorView compatible TVs, so that if I'm not using a screen, I can use it as a TV (not sure if this configuration will work)
    1 of both.

    Has anybody done this? What were the problems, and how did you overcome them?
