Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes you will. Unfortunately a lot of people won't get their first choice and may go to college in a different city/ take a gap year etc and will forfeit any accommodation they have. Start ringing around the days after the CAO offers come out and you should get somewhere.

Also would you still have to pay a deposit?

Yes - typically one months rent for a room in a house or approx. €500 if you are going for student accommodation / campus apartment. Bear in mind they may want you to pay rent from 1st September regardless of when you'll be moving in so some may ask for that with the deposit.
