I put him in my wildcard team last week despite his imminent drop as he seems to be the safest starter at that price range and he does seem to pick up chances in a team that can score lots of goals. So long as he stays fit I'll probably never need to move him on. No reason why he shouldn't improve on last years three goals and one assist.

Yeah but what I was debating was Payet + Martial or Mata + Sakho. I do have Vardy and intend to keep for a while considering his form (and Leicester's one) and Leicester's run.

I have Payet + Martial. I got rid of Sakho 2 weeks ago for Benteke (that worked out well!).
Mata has been Utds stand out player for the last few games (in the league and Europe). An interesting point that was made by someone after Utds win midweek against wolfsburg was that Mata himself isn't the quickest of players but having pacy players like Martial and Memphis around him seems to bring out the best in his game. My only concern is the difficulty of Utds fixtures.

And Sakho, well I still regret getting rid of him

I'd be tempted to hop on the Mata + Sakho boat if I wasn't already sailing down the river on the Payet + Martial one.

Nah was hoping for a Targett rise last week but he didn't play and had decreased on FPLstatistics - need another Bertrand injury setback.

Kolarov rose again. I'm sorry but I don't understand, he's now 6.2. I bought him at 5.6 & I've gotten 1 rise in team value. He's now worth 5.8 to me. Should his value not have risen again? Think I brought him in with my WC, does this affect it?

He should have rose to 9.8 and started now to fall again back towards 9.5

However most brought him in (hoping for rises & on WC) and all while he was "protected". A lot of ownership thought he was a potential bandwagon which never happened due to the farse of his protection period.

If he doesn't score today, i expect a big slide to continue with 10% ownership still to dump.

Obviously something wrong here. If you bought at 5.6 your selling price would be 5.9 can only assume you got him at 5.5. Go to transfers and data view and it will tell you.

Hey Jimmi, thanks for replying. Just checked that price there & I did actually get him at 5.5.

So can I attempt to simplify by saying I get increase in tv for every 2 rises he gets? So when he gets to 6.3 I'll get a rise to 5.9? It just seems like his price is always rising yet my value staying the same.

Yep that's right. Divide the price increase by two and round down to nearest .1 so if your player goes up 0.8 you get 0.4 increase in selling price then when they go up 0.9 you still have the same selling price then when they go up 1.0 your selling prices goes up to 0.5 more than purchase price. You got to pay your agents sure!!

Price changes only occur once per day, around 2am.

Bit crazy making a transfer at 3pm anyway, even if it was a Palace/WBA def.
