Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Incidentally, Rooney is now under 10 million for the first time in I'd say 10 years.

    Bloody hell.

Ayew, KDB, Kane, Smalling and Kouyate in my team.

    Still about 3m overpriced.

Those getting rid of Kane, by rights, should get punished over Christmas with those fixtures.

But they'll probably get away with it somehow.

He's already made a balls of decent fixtures, no point waiting on him when there is better options.

I've a preference for players that tick over the scoreboard each week, not players that get big one week then baron spells for several after.

Is there a better option apart from Vardy and Lukaku though? I'm glad to have him.

Ighalo is easily the 3rd best striker in the game this season, a big drop down to to anyone else

I dunno, Ighalo has been immense so far but I think he could start to drop off now with the fixtures

Been hearing that argument all season with certain players only for it not to happen. :)

As much as I hate Kane, I don't think you can say it's "a big drop down" from Ighalo to him considering the points they've scored since GW10 and fixtures from now on

Of course if you manipulate the sample size, you can make whatever argument you want!

Kane has been woefully inconsistent all season with a few explosive scores to make him look a better option than what he is. Ighalo on the other hand been consistent and fairly fixture proof so far. He wouldnt have that score if he wasnt.

Meh, you can't say he's fixture proof when he blanked against Man City, Arsenal, and Leicester who are the top three sides

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,557 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Ighalo is definitely not fixture proof, there is very little evidence to suggest that.

Was hoping Kun would hold out till the weekend so I could make my mind up then! Giroud rising does help though as I think that's .1 I've made on him now.

Alot of desperate people jumping on the Aguero bandwagon early!

I'd like to see the top 1k transfers in and out

The majority of the top 1k are not the type of people to take advice off.

The implication is that people who haven't done well in previous seasons have benefitted from trends working completely different this season than almost every other season.

There's an element of it for sure, but I'm of the opinion that you either adapt to change or perish and my mistakes that have led to my failure are my own and this will probably be my first year for a long time without a top 15k finish.

He's only on 62.5 so no.

    Only Butland looks like rising.

    Small chance Bellerin will.

What normal people do on Christmas morning:

*open presents, eat lots of chocolate*

    What fantasy football players do:

    *check price rises and falls*
