Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Oxford down to 3.7
Could be useful if funds become very tight in the future.

Apparently De Gea was going to rise 3 times in the last international break alone?
Now look at how the mighty have fallen... by 0.1

He rose once, dropped once, how the mighty have plateaued.

Saying that: DDG out Hennessy in today for me.

I didnt get caught by the drop, luckily as I wasn't following the sites today.

Less time between gameweeks equals less of a spread in the days people are making their transfers, where previously there were maybe 7, now there are only 2 or 3, but in reality you'll likely see a similar amount of transfers made, just spread differently.

Are early wildcards effecting price drops/rises?

Was it accurately established whether they're counting this year?

Crikey, Coutinho was only at 87% to a fall at midnight. Seeing as he was hovering between 80 and 87 since GW17, iI'm surprised he amassed enough transfers out in the subsequent hour and a half, especially since he hasn't played yet.

Well, accurately sounds too affirmative but yes we saw the effects during the GWs around the first international breaks.

Yeah it looks like they've adjusted the thresholds again. Most of the fallers were in the 85 - 100% bracket too.

The below is a quote from me in the week 14 transfer thread. Allied to the fact that I've had Alli and Butland on the bench for all their big hauls and I have still not had Ozil in my team I can only dream where I would be if I took my own advice:(

I would include Arnie in the punt category, he seems to be at the heart of all Stoke attacks (on MOTD) and I believe he would suit Mr P. Fixtures are not fantastic but he's done well against big teams in the past I recall, he's always been capable of being a very good FPL performer.

    It's a punt though

Bah. Was hoping he wouldn't rise again before today. 3 rises in a short gw turnaround. Get in the chopper. etc. etc.

Any of y'all know which of Toure and Shaqiri is rising at a faster rate? Either likely to make a 2nd rise before Payet gets 1 rise? I can't see that myself but would like to bring someone in for that purpose tonight in any case.

Toure is set to rise tonight according to fpl stats, Shaqiri at 0.4 now.

Long break ahead, movements will be slower than in last few gameweeks.

    Playing wildcard?

Yup. I'm guessing Payet will go up tomorrow night though so won't get the time for a double rise from anyone else.

    75.7 now for Payet.

He will rise tomorrow I think.

Tough set of 4 fixtures coming up for Arsenal, but I do agree it's madness.

Casuals would have panicked when he was rested against Bournemouth and then decided Koscielny was better after Newcastle

I also think that some people are getting rid of Arsenal defenders to free up an Arsenal slot - particularly those who doubled up with cech. Having only one arsenal space (already filled with Ozil) must be really limiting.

I think some serious players are simply considering getting rid of Arsenal defenders as they are not offering good value at present. I'll be shipping Bellerin soon, possibly this week. They have 3 CS in their last 9 games and a tricky run of fixtures, defensively at least, ahead.

There is better value out there, especially when trying to fit some of the newly shiny big guns in attack.

I'd be keeping Bellerin personally. He is the only arsenal defensive cover I have, and already have stoke, Crystal Palace, Spurs, West Brom cover. Nobody looks like keeping clean sheets at the moment, so a punt on an arsenal defender is as good as any

It's an expensive punt though. Danny Simpson got me a clean sheet last week and is 4.1! You have cover from four decent sides there and will only ever play three defenders.,
