Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

FFS. Walcott didn't drop as predicted.

    Took a -4 for that.

Nope. I think it happens when you use quick reply.

Any ligament injury, no matter how minor, will keep him out of the squad for several weeks!

Are people really considering Targett this week with the saints playing away to Arsenal.
I know they have kept some clean sheets recently, but now is shirley not the game to get a saints defender in

I suppose most people bringing him are just freeing up funds or need to downgrade a defender to afford Aguero/Sanchez

You're right, it's not the game to bring him in. And don't call me Shirley.

Hes not to play really but to get funds for Sanchez, cheap player that I can have on the bench for 2 points basically.

Surely you meant to say 12 points.... he's currently the pound for pound FPL Champion averaging 9.66 ppg since the Saints have returned to their senses and started him.

    Buy buy buy.

A very out of form Southampton bet arsenal 4-0 on St. Stephens's day, and Matt Targett is now the 3rd best player in the world behind Mahrez and Aguero.
*Sorry 4th best, PVA is obviously up there with Aguero.

Back to reality, I'd say he's a money saver for people, but they have a nice run after Arsenal, I'll be looking at Cedric/Forster soon anyway as a starter for me and maybe Targett as a cheapie 5th Def , even if he does get dropped.

Why are people flushing out Lukaku with Newcastle up next, I hope he goes ham and scores 17 on Wednesday

3 blanks in a row has people trigger happy and there are a lot of decent striker options.

I've held on to him myself, but if he doesn't get back to scoring from v Newcastle, I'll be looking to ship him out. At the moment, I have exactly enough to bring in Costa...any more movement and I'll be looking at Giroud/Rooney.

Ye newc is normally the type game ypud bring him in for. Also he will have a dgw shortly possibly wk 25 or so....can see lot people bringing him back in

Was thinking of benching Lukaku for the Newcastle game given his (and Everton’s) recent relative poor form – also have Ighalo and Aguero.

Have a strong and mostly in-form midfield five now (Alli, Payet,Mahrez,Firminio,Sanchez) so fancy playing a 3-5-2…..already blew my AOA a couple of weeks ago so that’s not an option.

So it comes down to either dropping Firminio or Lukaku I guess – can see Ighalo doing well against Chelsea’s back 4.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,303 ✭✭✭Mike Ehrmantraut

I'd be thinking a lot people are selling Lukaku to try and fit in Aguero, planning on holding on to him until after she at least, so hopefully scores a hatful against Newcastle

Annoying to have to swallow Firmino rises but it's the right play before his CA Cup game and any DGW 25 announcement...

Liverpool played 3 games at home in last week and a period of extra time
    they scored zero goals
he played in 2 of those games
I think it may be his new owners who will be annoyed over next few weeks :D

Yeah you may be right. My comment was assuming 'Pool were not drawing to WH and had a real possibility of a DGW25 though...
