Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Definitely Bellerin and possibly Sanchez.

I'm hoping Sanchez holds off - the possible injury is putting me off swapping him in for Ozil.

Yeah I don't think he'll go up what with all the wildcards being activated now and them not counting towards price changes.

No Bellerin rise, surprising. Thought he was certain to go up tonight.

Looked as if Coutinho & Lukaku were to rise earlier.

Wildcards affecting price rises. Gonna be fun times playing roulette with the price changer this week

Doesn't seem to that much activity in general. I thought we'd see players flying over 100% on fplstatistics etc and then not rising but it hasn't been too different to usual so far.

Doesn't look like we'll get many if any double risers..

Big wildcard weeks always the same. E.g. international breaks early season.

Fantasy football fix estimated that 50% of all transfers this week so far were wildcards.

It's Madness to play the wildcard straight off the bat.
Everyone should make their transfers as early as possible and only apply the wildcard last second with some lesser transfer. It allows players values to soar but also psychs out your rivals when they think you've taken a 40 point hit but instead race 40 points ahead with numerous dgw players!

It's a dangerous game though. Too many people have been burnt by forgetting to click that button.

Is Martial a viable alternative to Kane? Obviously trying to free up some funds with KDB back in the mix...

11.44 wildcard with a -72 in play would be Dangermouse levels of jaws of death escapism. You should stream it live.

Very viable. Great fixtures in GW34.

I'd be monitoring the status of Rooney though, with him back it could push martial out of position. I saw someone else saying the same a few pages ago

I agree with Mach about not showing your hand and playing the wildcard later in the week, but I dread to think that internet would die at 11.40 on deadline day and I'd be left with a massive points penalty.

Can you see opposition teams before the transfer deadline? I only thought you could see them once the transfer deadline closes.

You can see how many transfers they've made or if they've used their wildcard and you've kept tabs on their TV and what they have itb you'd realise that they've activated TV.

KdB going up is a real kick in the stones!
Was hoping to see how he'd fare tonight against PSG.

aguero dropping before a home game to West Bromwich followed by a DGW whilst his chief supplier rises is GREAT news
and this late in the year there will be no plan to get him back
    PUNISH THEM KUN

Kun punishes his owners more than his deserters. He is a harsh and manevolent ruler.

Exactly this. This game, this season, has no mercy on sensible players! I've no problem with people getting him in but I'd presume most of the (sensible) ones who already did it are on WC (so no effect on price changes in theory).

The crazy thing is looking at price changes, people who're getting KDB in are selling Agüero to free the cash for it. So a double transfer. For people not on WC ?! :eek! How crazy a decision that is before a key CL game and after a less than 60 min perf' from the Belgian ?!

And here we're all debating tactics, planning over-carefully, developping theories ... Are we sensible or... insane :pac:?

If ever there was a FPL justice KDB would get a kick tonight that'll keep him away from the pitch for 2 weeks!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

There is no sense this season, and there's no reason for them to change their tactics.

None of them have been punished for not being sensible.

So what do we need? Arsenal to record thrash Palace, something like 9-0, with Sanchez involved in 7-8 goals (say 5 goals, 3 assists) and on the euphoria wave do the same against WB, say 6-0 with a Sanchez hat-trick and assist. So Sanchez 64 pts (C) & TC. Oh and of course the FSA BB template to work a hell of a treat!

Sounds too much fantasy for all of you guys? Alright. But do you remember DGW31 season 2013/14? I don't know how and why but I kept track of it :P.

    Chelsea - Arsenal : 6-0
    Cardiff - Liverpool : 3-6
    Everton - Swansea : 3-2
    Hull City - West Brom : 2-0
    Man City - Fulham : 5-0
    Newcastle - Crystal Palace : 1-0
    Norwich - Sunderland : 2-0
    West Ham - Man United : 0-2
    Tottenham - Southampton : 3-2
    Aston Villa - Stoke City : 1-4

    Arsenal - Swansea : 2-2
    Man United - Man City : 0-3
    Newcastle - Everton : 0-3
    West Ham - Hull City : 2-1
    Liverpool - Sunderland : 2-1

I got 175 pts and dare I say I was disappointed!

Yaya got 31 pts (a hat trick and a goal). Suarez 25 pts. Sturridge 18 pts. Lukaku 18 pts too. Rosenior (Hull def) my 16 pts hero punt :D. Gerrard only 11. Coleman "only" 9. Barkley (did not own him) 20 pts!

Highly owned single GW Chelsea & Eriksen (2 goals, 1 assist & 3 bonus) trolled us but I somehow did get Hazard 8 pts (I remember now that I got real lucky since my last min decision to get Silva in epically failed when I was too late to put him on the pitch for Hazard - jeez  it's a nasty habit of mine :pac:  - but Silva got injured and only got 1 assist in City 5-0 win and did not play their second game ; Aguero was injured ; Nasri 3 assists over the 2 games & Demichelis 1 goal, 2 CS & 2 Bonus were the "differentials") and Azpi CS.

All of a sudden I'm seeing Barkley differently now :p.

Holding Vardy for the Sunderland game could have cost me badly as I was tight on funds to move Martial in for the DGW.

Silva's injury has forced me into buying Barkely this week so I have my pick of DGW strikers next week now.

I have really dropped off following team news since the international break.
