    Hi folks,
Parents 120 not responding to remote any more. Buttons on box will change channel etc. It's not the remote as new batteries and works on their other box. Have done a factory reset via menus and no joy.
    Anything that can be done?
    Cheers
    Mick

    Sounds like a faulty box

Going to try flashing the firmware if I can get as far as the Internet and a computer and USB key..

The 120s are out a few years now, it's probably a while since new software was released. Worth a try I suppose

Infra red module not working ? Sure I read about them failing on previous A120 threads.

Flashed firmware and no joy... Possibly infrared module... Is it fixable or as well off buying new box?

Unless you can source the part cheaply and fix it yourself then you're better off buy a new box.
