    LOL. I get you, but that is only allowed at certain times I think.

    If you drive a cash in transit van, you can go in either direction at any time of the day it seems.

    The current situation is abysmal. Just look at the junction of George and Same street. Tiny footpaths wedged with pedestrians and all of the road space dedicated to cars, no provision for buses and cyclists save the right turning bus lane on George's street, which is often full of cars and empty taxis anyway.

    That junction at Georges St/Dame St is a nightmare, the footpaths on all sides of it are way too narrow to handle the volumes of people trying to cross there. At least one good thing there is when the pedestrian lights go green you can walk in any direction across, it wasn't always that way.
