    I did indeed sell Megaman X, checked last night. It's actually selling for quite a bit now on eBay, even bare carts are going for decent money.

    Great game.

    I loathe games that shoe horn in stealth missions in otherwise action orientated games.

    Speaking of stealth, remember some of the spy missions in Command and Conquer: Red Alert....spend 20 minutes painstakingly guiding the spy through the enemy base, only for him to be eaten by a dog at the very end. Beyond infuriating, hated those missions.

    I remember the stealth mission in AMY was a pain as well. That whole game was just off.

    Very much an old platformer problem, but slippy slidey ice worlds. No platformer was complete at one time without an obligatory "subtle suspension of friction and addition of penguins and icicles" level.

    A lot of complaints about water levels I see.... As awkward as Tomb Raider's 'tank' controls were to master on land, the water sections were often the most fun and straight forward to control.

    I do hate insta-death water though in other games. And underwater mazes.

    In fact, any maze levels. *shudder*

    Playing Bloodborne and it reminded me one of my other Pet hates in video games. The parts of games where enemies respawn, I mean not in a way of "darksouls", but in a way that you in the area and damn crap respawns right away if you leave screen or on timer.

    Escort missions usually ending with me killing the target, you'd swear I was working with the enemies and any level that involves the undead is just horrible, getting overwhelmed by all kinds of nasty enemies.

    Bit of a niche one, but on-foot levels of driving focused games are the worst. Driver 3, Wheelman, Pursuit Force etc.

    This also goes the other way as I absolutely despise the driving mechanics in the likes of Halo, Borderlands and so on. Just get rid of the vehicles!

    I can remember not being able to beat Shifting Sand Land in Mario 64 for years. As a result I hate Desert Levels.

    Underwater levels are a given at this stage I think :P

    And last but not least: Pokemon has given me a massive dislike of Cave levels.

    FPS or shooters in general when you character has to use a mounted turret gun, maybe it's on top of a hill....and 100 enemies run out. Maybe atop a temple or building or whatever.....and it usually has infinite ammo...and is pointless.
    Or similarly they may be riding in a chopper, or boat or on some vehicle or animal....and the level continues on...but you have to sit on your stupid turret and spray everything that moves.

    Was playing red dead redemption yesterday and exactly that happened :-o
