Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am waiting for Sky Sports to tell us that the intensity and competitiveness of the Premier League is the reason why Arsenal lost Sheffield Wednesday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Only one winner in this game now you'd think. Despite how poor Chelsea have been, that red card and goal will have knocked Stoke's confidence.

    1-0 Leicester Mahrez.

There's a man that's going to be in demand next Summer.

    1-1 now, Hull have equalised.

There's a man that's going to be in demand next Summer.

It's hard to believe that Leicester got him from Le Havre for only £350,000.He'll probably be worth around 10-15 million in the summer.

Not too many fans of any club talk it up to be fair. Read a comment on from a Chelsea fan on Twitter (before Remy equalised) Chelsea don't mind going out as it means they can concentrate fully on 14th.

So you'd rather not win a trophy? It's not like you're going to win the Champions League or Premier League is it?

For a fanbase such as Arsenal's that demand success, it amazes me that you'd turn your nose up at a very winnable trophy.

There's a snobbishness with all football fans, even lower league teams turn their noses up at the Johnstone paint trophy, despite the fact it's probably the only silverware they have a hope in hell of winning, and teams play 2nd string ffs. Personally I'd fecking love a trip to Wembley for that, but it'll probably never happen.

For someone who doesn't seem to care about this competition, you sound rather bitter that your team got knocked out it.

Odd camera angle for the Chelsea/Stoke penalty shootout. Camera is behind the goal.

Anyone else prefer the League Cup to the FA cup?

They are unpredictably enjoyable and being mid-week, don't interrupt the league programme.
Plus you don't have the whole nauseating media masturbation over "the magic of the cup".

Maybe not bitterness but it seems to be agitating you somewhat.
