Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

3 Very good games next round

A side from City smashing Hull, I think the 3 could go either way. Especially with the confidence gathered from Sheff/Middlesboro

Well obv the fans of teams in english provincial dump towns like Bradford,Sheffield and Grimsby are going to be excited at the glamour and more importantly financial benefits of playing prem teams. As for more football, there is enough of it. at least one of the competitions has to go, is there a worse weekend in the year than FA cup round 3, give me an international break anytime

Clown, you ever been to Sheffield?

Football is only the preserve of the top 3/4 teams apparently.

It's funny that most of the winners of Capital One Cup in the last 11 years are mostly big teams and are all Premier League teams yet people on the net insist it is a crap competition and that these same big teams don't take it seriously.

It's the smallest competition a premier league team can win, but it's still a trophy and even those who say they don't care would be delighted to win it.

Looks like Everton are going through the to the next round anyway.

2 nil up against Middlesbrough after 30 mins. Delefeo on fire. 1 assist and 1 goal

Big opportunity for Everton to win a trophy

Think Everton could struggle to hold onto Deulofeu in January. He looks like a young Ronaldo tonight.

I thought he would start hovering such was the motion of his whirly legs on the assist

Barca have a 6.3m buy back clause active next summer. He can't be sold in jan. *unless Barca offer silly money

Ouch. On current form you'd say he's worth three or four times that.

Yep. But they insisted on that so I guess it was worth it from an Everton point of view. It increases to a whopping 8.5m the following year

So Semi Final or half final are

    Everton V Man City
    Stoke City V Liverpool

Can people remember in the 2nd legs away goals only count after extra time
