    Woman I work with has these in her front garden & kindly brought me in a ton of seed pods so I can plant them in my own garden. Would like to know what it is - all I know is it produces lots of large yellow flowers & the seed pods are huge! Thanks.

    It's a tree peony.

    Probably Paeonia ludlowii.
