Visa Debit Card POS Daily Limit While Abroad?

    Hi,

    Currently on holiday in Italy. What is the daily limit I can spend on my visa debit card at the counter at a POS? Looking to pay for my hotel accom etc

    Hi shuffles,

    Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.ie.

    Bank of Ireland will not put a limit on your card for any point of sale transactions. However for larger amounts the hotel may need to ring to get authorisation on the transaction.
