Try watching the videos before you come out with such rubbish.

LOL, says the poster who claimed protesters were abusing graduates in Tallaght.
Miles and miles of them there was...

There's a posse of protesters milling around Tallaght Garda Station this evening, luckily I managed to take evasive action, and got home without incident....

I did'nt get close enough to read the publicity material, but I suppose it was along the lines of "Vote for Denis O Brien","Down with Polictical Policing" or somesuch ?

Looks like we're in for a Marching Season in the Deputy's constituency, just like the processions of old....:D

You see what you want to see,and hear what you want to hear.

Try listening to the Anglo tapes,or a recording of the farcial banking inquiry,or maybe the soap that passes as civilsed debate in the Dail.

Or would the Guerin report into Gardai thuggery suffice...?

But wait, have they not buried that .?

    Any graduates being abused?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,028 ✭✭✭gladrags

no problem with any of that at all. so given all that why do you object to the jobstown protesters being called thugs?

I object strongly to the fact that the damage done by various types of crooks, fraudsters and thieves, has not resulted in these true criminals being held accountable,in any tangible way.

One of the most powerful and potent reasons for this,is simply their wealth and
status,in the "society" and circles they operate in.

Wealth and status is power, the law is their lapdog,to be manipulated and twisted at will.

Hence the thugs you refer to are immediately at a huge disadvantage.

There's a pathetic amount of "protestors" so they're not so vociferous when they're outnum.

That protest was well advertised, were you not caught up in another protest a few months ago?

The very fact that you are able to publicly "object strongly", underlines the very great personal freedoms we enjoy in this Country.
I'd suggest that under a Deputy Murphy led Socialist Republic, your "strong objections" would have to coincide with his or you'd be told to STFU.

Perhaps....mind you I've not encountered a "thug at a huge disadvantage" round these parts for a while, usually they have a F.L.A. solicitor in tow to keep them safe from the aforementioned "Power" of the Law.

What is an acceptable level of "Wealth" in your opinion ?

I was indeed, had to head off into the depths of City West,as my "constitutional right of access" to cheap petrol in Jober was denied to me,by a gang who felt their "constitutional right to protest" trumped mine.....

As a result,I wonder if Mzz Howlin might consider a late addition to the charge sheet ?

Tonights event was'nt advertised in the media I take, although I am regularly deluged with glossy Socialisty-Stuff advocating my withdrawal from responsibility,comonsense,bill-paying and the rest,so perhaps the Deputy's invitation ended up in the Cat,s litter tray.......I'll have to check.

But,seein as Deputy Murphy got a By Election vote from me,I'm all in favour of him defending his position to the utmost....he does have duty to represent ALL of his constituents does'nt he ???? ;)

the same as or less than their level of wealth.

So why are you so pished off that they are demonstrating their right to protest, and then denied you your right to cheap petrol.?

    Absurd in the extreme.

There is a lot that just does not add up in your tall tale.

The constitution and its rights belongs to its citizens, their rights were not a gift from some political quarter.

Your utterances on Murphy is mere hypothetica projection.

But he certainly has upset the norm of the usual civil war hooliganism that has emerged from the Dail over the decades.

    Yahoo politics.

It was covered in the media today.

I believe your last episode was around RTE in Donnybrook,is that correct.?

    Absurd....how & why ?

Add up..?..whats all the "Tall Tale" stuff about.

As an Irish Citizen,I have constitutional rights,as you probably do also,so whats so "Tall Tale" about it ?

Deputy Murphy is one of My elected representatives, something which carries with it responsibility to fairly and equally represent ALL of his constituents.

I would certainly disagree with the suggestion that Deputy Murphy has brought anything, other than a different brand of hooliganism into Dáil Eireann.

Luckily Ireland suffered only one Civil War in modern times, which makes it unlikely that the Deputy's calls for revolt, disobediance and assorted other methods of resistance will get much of a hearing beyond his close confidantes.

You are correct however,in your hypothethical description of...a "Yahoo Politician"..indeed ;)

Try googling for yourself. Words like "Jobstown" "Joan Burton" "Youtube". It's better you have a look for yourself in case a Government shill leads you astray!

Have you any further proof of protesters attacking graduates?
Or was that just another makey-uppy story like the miles and miles of pipes one?

Isn't there video footage of protesters calling graduates traitors.

I suppose all the video evidence will be revealed in court Northstars.

Why would you be asking ME for proof? I don't recall saying graduates were attacked.

Sorry that I didn't take photos of the miles of piles being replaced. Never occurred to me that I might need proof! However, you can rest assured that Irish Water are continuing upgrade works, with absolutely NO peaceful protesters to lighten their day!

Your friend mary put one up the other night ok, although it's quite obvious the protesters are aiming their chants at the Gardai and bruton.

BTW, where are all these court cases?
A week now since the story was leaked and not a summons in sight.
Did labour make a few calls, knowing how bad it will be for them in the run up to a general election?
Maybe Brendan Howlin asked his niece to look at the cases again?

you know what, it's great for your friends the water festival participants that there's no incriminating video evidence. They've absolutely nothing to worry about then.

Oh, apart from the false imprisonment thing.

I'll let the judge and jury decide if there was any 'false imprisonment'

If it ever gets to court that is.......
