That's the subject of an ongoing investigation.

Hasn't that been mentioned many times already on the thread?

    What Part 2?

    Comprehension, Graham.
    It's all about comprehension.
You see what you want to see and comprehend what you want to comprehend.
The choice is yours and obviously you've made your choice.

Another day passes and no charges/court cases etc etc etc....

Has anyone been charged with leaking information from the DPP's office to the press?
A serious attack of our democracy, indeed an act of subversion by the individual involved.

The wheels of Justice work slowly, my friend.

You seem quite concerned about all this.

Relax lad, all in due course, all in due course.

Yes, I'm very concerned about the subversion of the office of the DPP for some to score cheap political points.
I'd suggest you should be too.

I think it would be much more political if the DPP pandered to opinion rather than doing their job thoroughly.

Hopefully there will be a large turnout for the protest on Saturday and the Eirigi/facists/provos stay at home!

The leak about protesters being charged is just an attempt to portray those taking part in these legitimate protests as rabble and troublemakers. Moany Joany enda(where oh where is enda), alan kelly, leo vradkar etc think they can keep Mr & Mrs middle Ireland from attending these legitimate protests by painting those who attend as rabble and violent but they will be shown the real power of the peaceful protest on Saturday!
So Enda Kenny simultaneously is painting that lot as rabble and violent, despite him being nowhere to be seen or heard?

    :pac:

43% have paid up according to the latest IW figures.

    Cop yourself on.
So you're saying conorh91s post, that I have linked you to previously, does not exist? Because that's what it seems like you are saying.

I'm sure you have proof of this?

I'd prefer to go through life not obsessing about stuff like that .

The proof was all over the media about 3 weeks ago.
It's the reason this thread was opened.
You see what you want to see, that's your problem not mine.

For people who constantly ask for figures and documented proof, you don't like it when that proof, provided by the very quango you vehemently defend, doesn't suit the agenda.

43% is the figure, if you have more recent information, feel free to share it here.

I can't wait to hear what evidence you have to backup your claim that the leak originated from the DPP.

    Whenever you're ready......

    Good Jesus.
The file is in the DPP's office for consideration.
Where do you think the leak came from?
    Mars?

So you have nothing at all apart from a gigantic assumption then. Thanks for clarifying.

    Are you actually serious?
The files are with the office of the DPP for consideration.
No official announcement has came from that office.
None of the alleged suspects have been told anything.
The media had information leaked to them about this.
Tell me, where do you think that information came from?

I'm really not sure why you comment on this if its not to produce a negative reaction.
I hope this is noted elsewhere.

You really do have a serious problem understanding the word evidence, don't you?

Has anyone thought for a moment this is just another rabble media stunt .
Timed well for another major protest

    That's your people's job, isn't it?
    Donegal/nightclub/drugs/McBreraty etc etc.

Regarding the leak from the DPP's office, it's like coming home and finding your dog sitting beside a stinking pile of dog sh1te with that guilty look only dogs have.
Now, you didn't see him do it, and there's no other dogs around and it's definitely dog sh1t.
People here would claim the dog didn't do it.
    It's laughable in the extreme.

Somebody quite obviously leaked the information about pending court cases from the Jobstown/false imprisonment/riot to RTE and the rest of the media.

My point is that if the files were sent from AGS to the DPP's office, there were there for consideration by that office.
Anything about pending court cases could therefore only have come from the DPP's office.
Leaking information like that is a breach of people's privacy and a subversion of the office of the DPP.
I hope the mole is found and faces the full force of the law.

    Ok.
I don't know how that works but could they have been told when arrested that they were recommended for prosecution but it was still up to the DPP to decide on what charges?

The only place this could have come from is the DPP's office.

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2015/0812/720872-joan-burton-jobstown/

How it got to RTE is another matter, the point is that someone in the DPP's office has broken the law by letting this information into the public domain.

Hopefully, the investigation will find out who and charges will be brought against him/her.
