    Indeed,lad

Unlike your attempt to tell people here that what happened didn't happen.

Look lad, you are clearly out of your depth here, based on your 'contributions .

Your MO seems to be dance on the head of a pin, deny that what happened, happened, deny what was videod by the 'protesters' and is there for all to see.Deny what is obvious to anyone with a lick of sense.

You are a beaten docket lad.

Who is going to volunteer to point out on here, every single day almost, that he has been given a court date, right up until November? :pac:

Is this not a very big risk fot the government, Murphy has all the options now.

He can't scream political policing if an election gets called he'll say it was timed interfere with his running or the case.

And he has the option of a jury or the district court. He will see to it that Joan Burton will be called and if a jury don't convict then what will that say about her.

Then there will be the appeal if any of them are convicted.

If he gets a sentence of more than three months he will have been blocked from entering the Dail or running for it.

If that sentence gets overturned on appeal will he be able to take a Supreme Court challenge to the election result

If for any reason the case collapses the government will look like clowns.

Is there a win in this for the government

All the same they have infulance with the AG and DPP Joan Burton can make it clear she doesn't want to have anything to do with it. And they will be running against him soon enough. Would it not be better to paint him as a no good who eggs on others to break the law than to risk a case that could clear him and make him into a hero

Joan Burton has nothing to do with the legal aspect of this.
If the DPP opts to prosecute with poor evidence that gets a non-conviction result, then it reflects on the DPP, not Burton!

It would be better if the law was allowed to run its course unfettered by political intereference.

That appears to be happening, which is good.

You can't make any kind of case with out the victim giving evidence and his side could call her. If a Jury don't convict she'll be a laughing stock politically

One of the victims of a crime is a laughing stock if the prosecution fail to win their case?

    Nonsense.

    Nonsense.

What crime would that be disturbing her reading of the paper and a few rounds of angry birds on her very expensive mobile phone

    What crime would that be

That remains to be seen in Court.

Or an election or tribunal in a few years looking into DOB IWand FG ministers but we've been there before except it was the airwaves they were selling

I can't stand her at times, or her voice at all times, but I fail to see what she has actually done in any of this?

Exactly they said vote for us we'll keep FG honest and make them keep their promises and they haven't they did nothing about siteserv and DOB. The worst that happened is Hogan gets to learn French and another pension. They said nothing about the waste of setting up IW when Board Gas said they had everything in place but still blew through 95 million of our money setting it up.

Labour should have pulled the plug and gone to the country. We now have apparently political policing and a special unit to spy on a TD.

And yea she does my head in too. Back on topic if the DPP don't get convictions will it comeback on FG and Labour

It's more likely to reflect on the DPP.

I know. You'd think they'd gagged and bound her and kept her in a basement for a year.

This is a prime example of how existing laws for serious offences can be twisted for minor ones.
