added a few items to the table above

Just looking at the AI fixtures page, they might have put those changes into this year.

It lists the AAI 4K Cross Country (is that the short course championships?) & Juvenile B Championships for January 9th - and it is now the Inter Clubs that's listed as being on the 22/11, which might take a few clubs by surprise! It was listed as the Inter Counties a few days ago.

Interesting that the location for the Autumn Open is down as TBC and it’s not in the Park’s calendar of events. I presume it’s going to be ultimately held on the Gerry Farnan course, but it might be interesting to move it around.

They also have the Dublin masters as being on the 3rd of January, rather than the 10th.

    Hi,
The GloHealth Inter Club & Juvenile Even Age Cross Country Championships - November 22nd 2015. Anybody know where it will be hosted this year?
    Thanks

Hi Raycun, do you know the dates of the Dublin champs and leagues?

  • Registered Users Posts: 205 ✭✭ASIMON0V

Here are two more open XC dates in the south east, both are good events across underage, junior, and senior. Maybe they could be included in the table?

    13/09/2015 Adamstown AC, Wexford,
    27/09/2015 St. Senans, Kilkenny

    Just sticking this.

Unsure if I'm doing any of these this year...tried an interval session the other day. Christ I'm slow.

Cross-County fixtures list, with Cork & Munster, bias, on Cork Athletics website.

Let me know, please, if you spot any errors. Still confused  as to the outcome of the XC review, last spring - was there ever an official release of the decisions? I think  the Inter-Counties and Inter-Clubs have been combined.

Athletics Ireland site has been updated with a few extra details:

Autumn Open is Phoenix Park - 18th October

Interclubs on in Santry Demense - 22nd November

National Novice is in St.Augustine's College, Dungarvan, Co.Waterford - 6th December

National Intermediate & Masters is Dundalk I.T - 24th January

Intercounties on in the Curragh - 14th February

Afaics, the only National XC event, for which the venue remains outstanding, is the GloHealth 4K Cross Country & Juvenile B Championships.

Dublin Seniors on 1st of Nove. Anyone know the venue?

Have seen the same fixture list posted three times with three different venues (Tymon, Santry and Phoenix Park)

Anyone in the know able to clarify?

    Tymon

It was supposed to be Santry but the British and Irish masters xc is on there and so we couldn't get the park again. So moving to Tymon, course to be decided

    Do All Ireland's start at U 11 or U 12 now?

Have the Interclubs and Intercounties been switched around? I thought the Interclubs was always around March time?

Very disappointing to see the open and bhaa clash. Both will lose out as a result, I certainly would have done both but now have to choose.

One has brack and tea at the end so it wont be a tough choice.

What is the criteria for entering a county championship? I'm away for the Dublin novice, and run with a Dublin club but wouldn't mind running the Meath champs as I'm from there originally.

Couldn't envisage there being a problem running as a guest in this but best get in contact

Lap 2 here covers most of the loop, only one short sharp hill.
