It's too big for the milkfloat...

^haha for average Joe (myself included) the 50mm socket in this set is gonna be a paperweight at best.

Absolutely, but I still ordered one. The breaker bar and extension bars are worth the price alone.

Anyway, its (more) tools. Nobody ever had too many tools

I've just realised that I can use the 19 / 21 on my wheels. Purchase justified. And if anyone wants me to tighten up a loose bridge, you let me know.

    Further update from Halfords.

Price is legit as they are rebranding their Professional range. So in theory other Professional stuff might come up cheap!

    Eagle eyes everyone, eagle eyes.

The smallest socket is 19mm, right?

What the hell am I going to do with this? Fix a tractor? Build a battleship?

41mm/42mm 46mm 50mm would be common enough hub nut sizes on vans, 4x4s, trailers even caravans also. 36mm for hubs on lots of cars even the piddly Ford Ka and fiat 500. Also plenty of 36mm/42mm crank bolts.

If by any chance someone ordered a set in liffey valley or tallaght and they have no use for them other than the sake of buying and want's to send the reservation in this direction it'd be greatly appreciated!

When they see people going nuts over an item that most people don't really need I doubt they'll drop the popular products quite as much. But I'll keep an eye out all the same!

Something tells me that the breaker bar in the halfords set we bought just ain't gonna cut it here. I may have overstretched!

I've not received a cancelation email (yet). What time was your order placed at, maybe if there was limited stock we can work backwards and see who's likely to actually get it
