Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Woeful is being kind. He has been poison.

Did rooney get a job as a foot model cos he doesn't seem to want to use his to touch the ball

Very poor quality game so far.

This is turgid stuff. It used to be a pleasure watching Utd.

Rooney is a waste of space. He's the captain he should be lighting a fire under their asses but instead he's the most sloppy and lethargic one out there.

    Hernandez for the 2nd half?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,768 ✭✭✭raze_them_all_

I will say matas defensive stuff has come on leaps and bounds, and boy can darmian defend well

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

If Utd up the gears a bit in the second half they should be winning this with ease.

Hernandez needs service he plays further forward
Not enough being created for him to be considered yet
Rooney dropping deep, but his touch is ****

Vertout should be fined by Sherwood for acting the bollocks.

Performance looked promising until we scored. Ever since they seem to have dropped off intensity and Villa have had more of the ball

United been so poor since the goal. Rooney looks a million miles off the pace of the match.

Mata on the wing didn't work at chelsea so why does lvg think it would work at united unless he's a stop gap solution until a more suitable player is brought in, poor signing by Moyes all the same.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Would prefer either Hernandez to be be brought on for Rooney in the second half. Keep Januzaj on the pitch, Schweinsteiger and Herrera to make appearances.

Please. No chance of LvG taking Rooney off though, maybe just drop him deeper into the CF role Januzaj is playing.

    Schneiderlin has not been great.

Mata who played one of the finest passes you'll see this season for the goal?

    Right.

This Utd team are awful to watch.
One shot on target in 45 minutes and that was deflected .
They got a poxy goal last week too.

The match is like a training match ,there is no intensity .

Rooney up front just isnt going to work,he is too slow and his first touch is diabolical.

Like to see Herrera replace Mata in the second half if he is injured.

He's completely off the pace but also getting little support. He ain't suddenly ****. Not that I care!

    Right.

He's a very good player but not world class for me, chelsea did well getting almost 40m sterling for him.

He is miles off the pace and its like a pre season match out there ,its very slow .

Whilst the team have lots of possession, there is usually only one option for each pass ,its far too cautious.
Too much back passing, very few triangles or one two's and very few players running off the ball or even looking for a pass at times.

I don't know why this popped into my head, but how good would Berbatov have been in our current setup?
