One of the few playing with 10 this week.

    Bellerin-Huth- Cedric
    Hazard-Payet-Sterling-Walcott
    Wilson-Rooney-Benteke

Did Payet for Ritchie and gonna wait on Courtois.

Have Benteke captain ATM , Rooney leads the FFS poll and Benteke leads the Boards poll...DECISIONS!!

I'm surprised by the Benteke love here

We have Arsenal and United away in the next 4 GW's

I'm holding onto Pellé as Southampton have much better fixtures (albeit on paper)

I agree. He's just such a good captain option this week its scary not owning him. But looking back at the fixtures I'm reminding myself why i have Kane instead.

    Pantillimon
    Bellerin Azpilicueta
    Fabregas Walcott Mahrez Depay Sterling
    Rooney Deeney Benteke(c)

    Ward Mings Saylor

2-5-3 activated, I really made an arse of picking cheap defenders.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,364 ✭✭✭OneColdHand

Will be lining out as follows:

    McCarthy

    Mertesacker - Bassong - Coates

    Hazard - Ozil - Mane - Henderson

    Rooney - Benteke (C) - Sakho

    Subs: Courtois - Bentaleb - Francis - S. Taylor

After my atrocious start to the season, I'm quite nervous about this GW. Haven't made any transfers. If I can be (even slightly) above the average for the week I'll be happy and will go into GW3 with 2 free transfers and 2.5m in the bank.

Mings not starting has f'ed me up too. Saylor I have too but I knew he was risky.
    I've gone 2-5-3 as well.

Can I be an arsehole and register my annoyance with people referring to the team they support as 'we'.

I don't have a clue who you support, I can't see the jersey you are no doubt wearing, I don't want to have to read through your post in painstaking detail to decipher which team you are referring to, just write Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, Norwichwink.png etc.

    Rant over

For me it's his upcoming home games: BOU, WHAM, NOR, VIL in the next 6 games. Will see how he does on Monday, but could be real captain material for those games.

Although I wouldn't captain for the away games. He's capable of scoring against any team.

[Swiper, this next bit is for you]
Certainly, when he used to play for us, we used to find that he could score against all kinds of team. We used to love when he scored against the big team for us, even though we aren't a big team!

Starting with the same team as last week bar transfer of Courtois to Mignolet(doubling up on Liverpool) and Pelle as captaib

Edit: oh I have swapped Berahino to the bench and am starting Sinclair

Disaster for Walcott owners if that happens, his value will plummet if he blanks again.

I'm the same but mine is 100% the same team as last week other than benching Azpi and starting Gomez and making Kane captain instead of Rooney and changing the order of my subs. Its like 80% of 100% of the same anyway which is like 100% most of the time.

    Just benched Azpilicueta for Coates.

Why? Surely they can't be as bad as last week.

Just wish one had a harder game to make it easy

Clean sheet odds, as well as Coates being the worst attacking threat of the 3.

I'm starting Coates myself though, are you sure you need to use the 253 this week?

Just transferred him out for Cazorla. At 9.0, he's too much of a risk.

As I mentioned on the transfers thread I've swapped Theo out for Payet so lining up as follows:

    Ruddy
    Bellerin, Coates, Cedric
    Mane, Hazard, Payet, Marehz
    Kane (C), Rooney, Sakho

    Rudd, Cabaye, Morgan, Francis.

Hoping Cedric starts again after being subbed at HT and the west ham boys run riot. Fingers crossed dumping Theo doesn't bite me in the ass!

Same XI here. Swapping armband from Rooney to Kane. Banking transfer although I do have Walcott.

Which three defenders (or should I go with four) from these five:

    Caotes (Sunderland)

    Azpi (Chelsea)

    Oxford (WH)

    Huth (lecister)

    Metersecker (Arsenal)

    Who to Captain from:

    Rooney (MU)

    Kane (Spurs)

    Sakho (WH)

    Thanks

Oxford, Coates, Mertesacker - Man City away is probably the 1 game all season I wouldn't be starting Azpilicueta.

I'd captain Kane there. Rooney hasn't scored away from home since May 2014 as someone else noted in another thread. West Ham are West Ham. . .

    Banking and rolling with this:

    Stekelenburg
    Bellerin, Gomez, Kolarov
    Fabregas, Ozil, Henderson, Mata
    Deeney, Aguero, Kane (C)

    McCarthy, Azpilicueta, Bentaleb, Saylor

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,686 ✭✭✭sheroman01

    Ruddy
    Azpi, Alderweirdeld, O'Shea (Francis)
    Hazard, Payet, Depay, Anya
    Pelle Rooney Kane (c)

A -4 hit and the 2 P's are in, Pelle and Payet. Looking forward to this GW!

  • Registered Users Posts: 309 ✭✭DwightSchrute1

    Fabianski
    Darmian Bellerin Cresswell
    Cazorla, Hazard, Depay, Henderson
    Deeney, Beneteke (C), Rooney

Torn between Beneteke and Rooney for captain. I think Beneteke is just about the better option due to playing at home against one of the promoted teams. Rooney's record against Villa does scare me though. Damn this game!!

Never sure, but Fabregas possibly at 10 and good fixtures for Payet,Mane,Chadli (-4) with Sterling as well has really tempted me.

City away is a game I want to start Azpilicueta. Chelsea have conceded one goal in their last two away games at City. Mourinho knows how to shut them down.

I fully expect City to now win 4-0, considering I've jinxed it.

Do not like having Walcott in my team AT ALL, need to bank the transfer for Aguero next week though so here's hoping he pulls a hat trick out of the bag.

Ah, but if he bags a hattrick then you will not sell him and will be left with a conundrum on how to get Aguero in!
    I hate those conundrums!

    Ruddy
    Cedric - Bellerin - Coates
    Hazard - Mane - Henderson - Sterling
    Rooney - Kane (c) - Sakho

    Rudd - Fletcher - Huth - Francis

Got rid of Walcott as I can't be dealing with the 'will he, won't he start?'. Brought Mane in as Southampton have a good set of fixtures on the horizon.

Brought Fabianski in for Courtouis this week.

    Fabianski

    Benteke(c) Rooney

Hoping to beat my 20 of last week :o

Going with : Oxford, Coates, Mertesacker

But fxxk it, I'm going with Rooney as Capt. This bl ood y game has my head wrecked. No doubt this means Kane will get a hat trick

I have a good feeling about this week after last week's cluster**** of 27 points. Brought in Romero for Courtois early and got away with it.
    Team Romero
    Bellerin, Kolorov, Williams,
    mane, Walcott, Depay, Fab,
    Kane (c), Rooney, Sakho.
    Subs, Hennessey,Morgan, Saylor, Fletcher,

If Wenger starts the lineup predicted by The Guardian, I'll personally march down from the stands at Selhurst Park and give him a piece of my mind . I'm starting to get twitchy over Theo, but I love banking transfers and am not willing to commit to Ayew yet (I have Sakho so Payet is a no go). Maybe I'll try and break Swiper's TV record if Theo is benched again :p

Your low team value you were so proud of last season. I'd imagine Theo will plummet if he gets another 1 pointer
