Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Goal should have stood, bad decision by the Ref. RM very unlucky there.

A wonderful goal by Bale disallowed for no reason. The anti-Madrid bias strikes again

Surprise surprise. Another disgusting referee decision favours Barcelona.

    Great goal by Ronaldo.

I've been impressed with him tonight. He's worked hard all night.

Best I've seen him play in a Clasico for a number of years.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,001 ✭✭✭recylingbin

Yes! Yes! Goal! How sweet it is! Ronaldo, who the Barcelona press have hounded all season, buries the shot. Ithe could not be any sweeter. 1-2

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Fellaini should learn from Pepe how to get sly digs in with his elbows, artistry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 613 ✭✭✭rodge68

    Justice..Bet that hurt Suarez !

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,570 ✭✭✭Ulysses Gaze

Casemiro has been immense tonight as well. Really talented player. Brings balance to the Real side.

But knowing Perez, he'll probably flog him in the summer to purchase another attacking midfielder or striker. :pac:

It's a shame that in the grand scheme of things this result for Real means sweet f*ck all.

Excellent to see Gerd Muller pop up when it matters most.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

It'll be even sweeter for Ronaldo, having seen Bale robbed of the winner.

    For La Liga maybe.

They may kick on in the Champions League though. This will be a huge boost to morale.

You'd forget Messi was even on the pitch tonight.

No according to some this is one time he has shown up to a big game.

Why all the hate for barca. Madrid have some horrible players.

    Was he?

He tends to go missing agains the big teams

Ronaldo will steal all the headlines and he did play really well but Casermiro was huge. Major block at then end there too.

    Love it !!

Great to see that "team" geting beat, even if it means nothing to their guaranteed 2nd treble in a row ..

maybe in two years Real Madrid will have a shot at a title ..

Casemiro was excellent but I thought it was Bale who was the difference maker in turning a draw into a win. Such positivity.

I think if you're one of the '100 greatest players of all time' from the worldsoccer poll you get a free pass to any game, I think Eusebio said as much.

Haven't you heard that Ronaldo is finished? He never scores in big games either.

Unreal how he keeps managing to fool people into thinking he is a great goalscorer!

    :D

It brings the 39 game unbeaten run to an end, which was historic in itself.

Haha, no this is a reference to some of the more bizarre section of the Boards Barca fans comparing Ronaldo to Muller in that he 'only score goals'.

I think if you're going to go down that route then Jese has to get the plaudits. RM seemed to find an extra gear when he came on and he really benefited Ronaldo and Bale

Ha, I know, Muller was a great player though.

Whipping out the free pass when you're one of the legends of the game must be hilarious, especially if you're not noticed.:D

He was good too, but Bale scored a legitimately disallowed goal and provided the all important assist for the winner, predominantly down to being unwilling to settle for the draw even when down to 10. That showed serious character.

Concerning from a Barca pov at how they gassed in the last 15 mins. Small squad playing so many games this season catching up with them?

Great management by Zidane with the way he used Jese to go for the kill when Barca were there for the taking.
