Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

At least it's not affecting the Sevilla players.

    Should be level at least.

Laws aren't set in stone, they're to be interpreted by a referee and he should have had the common sense to not allow that.

Laws aren't set in stone if you are Real Madrid this season .
What is given at one end as a penalty is ignored at the other, what is handball at one end is play on at the other end, what is offside at one end is onside at the other ,etc etc.

    Stunning.

He's not worse than De Gea I think.

Sevilla have gotten one back, lovely finish by jovetic.

Not like Real to benefit from something dodgy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,297 ✭✭✭✭MisterAnarchy

That's some finish by Ronnie, deadly.
Defender was cowardly though, hands behind back and turned away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

Such are the margins. Jovetic had one earlier that hit the angle of the woodwork, Ronnie blazes it just inside with a beauty of a shot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

    Two very nice finishes there.

Real really do out play teams in the final 10 minutes.

    Could easily have been 4 - 4.

    Title is Reals now surely.

Assuming Barca beat Eibar in the Nou Camp, 4 points from Celta and Malaga do it for them, but no less than that - and both are away games.

Celta away and malaga away will not be routine.
Celta will be well up for it Wednesday

Celta have pretty much given up now, have been dirt in the league for weeks now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

Celta have been playing a weakened team in the league but I don't think their current form even with strongest XI should trouble Madrid. Thing is though Madrid don't travel that well at the moment. They still get the results - but only barely. Malaga and Celta away are tough fixtures.

That said, it'd be much more preferable for me if Barca's last game was Malaga away. :D

Malaga will roll over. An ex-Madrid coach and didn't their owner call Barcelona "Catalunyan scum". It's all on Celta so it is still pretty much over on form.

Because they've been playing a B team while they concentrated on the europa league.

Hopefully they'll want to bounce back after the disappointment of being harshly knocked out.

C'ant see anything but 2 big wins for Real. Squad depth is well....very deep.

12 goals in his last 8 games when there's been huge pressure. Not a bad return.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Celta really should be level, played well.

Ice cold, Isco is world class, 2-0.

That is surely the league for Madrid. Cannot see them losing to Malaga.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Never a yellow ref, just play on, Aspas double yellowed.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,631 ✭✭✭Dirty Dingus McGee

Dreadful refereeing to send off Aspas.

First yellow was for dissent when Aspas complained about a clear handball not being given and he gets the second yellow for diving when Ramos in my opinion fouled him and it wasn't a dive.

    Hilarious refereeing in this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

More salt in the wounds with decisions going Madrids way.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

lol bizarre, assistant manager sent off.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

This ref has lost the plot, insane scenes.

If Celta stopped diving, they might have something to complain about.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Big save Navas.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Celta get one back through Guidetti (deflection though).

They've done very well since going a man down.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Madrid concede, lost their heads at the back.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,631 ✭✭✭Dirty Dingus McGee

    3-1 now.Game over again.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Oh Ronnie

It's every week now that there is some sort of a refereeing incident when Real play.
They have good resilience under Zidane this season and he has instilled a never say die attitude in the team however the amount of luck they have had in matches especially La Liga has been ginormous.
Their luck is going to run out and I strongly fancy Juventus to so a job on them next month.
