Hi. I'm sure it's been asked before but what is the ideal number of days to spend in Las Vegas?

I'm booking a trip there and had planned 6 nights. But people have been telling me it's too much. Is 6 nights too extreme?

No I don't think so, there's loads to do if you've the time, was there for 3 days and sorry didn't go longer, car rental is cheap, grab yourself a mustang or ferrari for the day and go visit some places, ghost town, canyons, celestial highway, there's so much in Vegas don't think you could get bored in 6 days..relax at the pool if your bored or burnt out..
If you win some money, vic and Anthonys restraunt in the golden nugget is divine, try the crab cakes....also a go on yet the waterside in the lobby through the shark tank, old Vegas is worth a night in itself.
New your new York has a roller-coaster running through it a must after a few beers..

I think so, it gets tired pretty fast. Three is perfect imo, four at a push. I've been several times and by the third day I'm always ready to leave.

We went 6 days in January and were sorry we didn't go longer. Next trip will be 10 days.

Depends a bit where you are travelling from too. If you are not far away then three is plenty, but if you have a translatlantic flight behind you you'll hit the wall on Day 1 pretty quick so the three nights start to get awful short.

On saying that it's all down to personal choice, some stay a night, some stay a month. My first time I stayed seven nights and could have stayed another seven, now I always stay five (apart from this year when I drunkenly booked four:mad:) and I find that to be a perfect length for me.

I could spend 6 days in Las Vegas and never set foot in a casino, or any of the typical LV entertainments.

You're 50 minutes from the Hoover Dam, or under 3 hours to Zion Canyon, a little over 4 to the Grand Canyon. That might sound extreme in Irish terms, but it's not hard to do on US highways. Note though that once you get into late November that snow can be an issue.
