Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Despite looking like a walking red card at time, Coq has been excellent. Time maybe to get him off after that one tho

    Get. Coq. Off. NOW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Coquellin should be gone now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

This is getting ridiculous from the ref now. Even the player himself knows he should be off by now.

How many final warnings does Coquielin get?

Wasnt the first yellow card supposed to be a last warning?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Wenger is incompetent if he doesn't make the change

Coq has been brilliant but he has to come off NOW

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,689 ✭✭✭bur

Bottle job from Mason. Now basically telling Wenger to take him off now so he doesn't have to give a red.

Wenger needs to haul him off now.

Excellent refereeing tackles are allowed with been yellow

Wenger doing the referee's job for him, but keeping eleven players on the pitch.

    We are poor defensivey

That ref is having an absolute nightmare of a game. How the hell is Coquelin still on the pitch?

Nightmare of a game??? That's a bit OTT

I had no idea that's how football worked.

Because he wasn't getting sucked into the pantomime that's gone on since the first yellow

    Top class refereeing so far

Very lucky they had the opportunity to sub him off.

I don't think anyone here is disputing Coq was lucky to be on the field

This line gets trotted out by commentators all the time. Them saying it does not make it true.

As a Gooner, Coquelin really should have been off. Tough one Cp fans.

It's the kind of thing you'd see in a pre season fixture. Extraordinary refereeing.

Standard of refereeing in England's top flight continues to be almost laughable.

Do behave. He should have been gone before HT.

Mertesacker just smoked Wickham for pace :D

Palace could lay in a few overly robust tackles now. Mason would be too scared to send one of them off.

Commentators job is to say things to get the fans excited. Honest reportage doesn't exist anymore

Let's put it to test it could have been a yellow quite easily but the ref felt it was on the right side of the borderline

Lucky Arsenal fans unlucky opposing fans

    Here is what I said

Please stop with this stuff. He should have been sent off. You know that really.

That would have been a sublime goal.

I respectfully suggest that you read one particular poster's thoughts on that. I won't name him/her, but you might be able to work it out!

Oh I hope I'm not as imbecilic as is being portrayed in your post

Match still on so will avoid the pettiness and drop back in later.

At half time Coq was lucky to be still on 2nd have he was excellent broke up 3/4 breaks making only one soft foul. Wenger took him off rightly as he was gone next soft foul

No; far from it. I was on about soups. He seems to be the most vocal in suggesting that Coquelin didn't deserve to be sent off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Dunno what happened there. My stream was too busy focusing on Cabaye's ball into Mutch.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,661 ✭✭✭Fuhrer

Still a good 20 minutes left, games gone pretty rubbish though. Hopefully it will pick up again

Can we have another Arsenal goal please?

    Delaney defending well.

Palace might need another forward, Wickham fairly one dimensional.
