The biggest factor for me is that first touch the attacker takes when he gets on the ball - since Moreno has come on, his first touch shifts the ball into an attacking position, so straight away he's running towards goal with defenders on the back foot. Lallana and even Ibe all game have been taking defensive first touches, getting their back to goal, shielding the ball - and just cutting all the impetus out of our breaks.

The midfield are a bit overrun. The defence are doing ok but after last season I am always nervous. The midfield are just sort of anonymous , Lallana isn't very effective and not really physical enough. Apart from Can, the rest of the midfield appear to want to play up front!!

Moreno's always been good going forward, while his defensive abilities haven't been great. I hate to say it, but he could be the white Johnson, although he may yet prove himself.
