Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VW Golf Mark 5 - Lock problems

    Hi All

Wonder if anyone can assist here please?

On a VW 5 door Golf, Mark 5 from 2004, we seem to have some problems with the locks.

Past situation: The passenger door lock gave up some time ago and hasn't locked with the remote key for some time.

Current situation: Only one of the back door locks and the boot locks with the remote key.
The same back door, the boot door AND the driver's door locks when locking with the key itself in the driver's lock.

    What is failing here, please?

    Many thanks.

Door lock control modules need to be replaced.

    Thanks for your reply.

I find it peculiar that this unit has failed on two doors simultaneously, I will get someone to have a look so.

    Thanks again.
