Lawnmower sounds like a jet engine

    Good morning all,

    recently inherited a lawnmower that needs some tlc.

    Lawnmower cuts perfectly but the issue is it is extermely loud. Im not talking the usual noise level nearly twice as loud.
    where is a good starting point for trying to get a idea on the problem?

    No. generally the exhausts are either screw in or bolt on and not particularly expensive but I'm not sure it is your problem as I can't hear your lawnmower.
    It is either that or something to do with the blade disc/fan underneath.
