Is there a limit on visa debit payment amounts?

    Is there a limit on visa debit payment amounts? For example if I wanted to buy something that was 6000 or 7000, would the payment go through if the funds were in the account?

    Hi veganrun,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie

    We don't impose a limit for point of sale transactions carried out with your visa debit card provided there are enough cleared funds in your account to meet the transaction amount.

    However, some retailers may impose their own shop limits.
