Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ref has decided to give the soft frees to KK this half.

That wasn't a free, jumped into it.

that was a tough call on the last point in fairness

The ref signalled for Hawk Eye, after umpire said wide?

Once the ref did that it was going to be a point.

The ref is trying to keep a lid on this but I think he's going to destroy

    The umpire signalled for Hawkeye.

What a stupid ball, all the time in the world and he plays it to a Galway player with 3 Kilkenny players around him.

Galway just 2 in 20mins. Match getting physical and scrappy, its going KKs way.

No, the umpire signalled for Hawk Eye.

ah right, i missed that, why made a comment about bad umpires then or that decision?

The umpires job is actually a bit redundant with hawk eye - might as well not have them there in their current role, i.e. their job should just be for 45/65's and for spotting fouls.

Kilkenny physicality and strength starting to take its toll on galway now. They need a goal now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Game over now I'm afraid, need a galway goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭Old Perry

KK lookin like they have another goal in them. galway need to pick it up fairly rapid

loads of time, no need to panic and go for goals just yet.

Its just hard to see them outscore kk by 3+ the way this half has gone. Maybe I'm speaking too soon.

Has anyone seen Joe in the last hlaf hour?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,008 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

Kilkenny playing with a 2 man full forward line is making it easier for the Kilkenny forwards to crowd out the space.

Galway have 10 minutes to win an All Ireland now but they won't do it by hitting high balls down on top of those Kilkenny backs.

    Bad wide Joe

It takes the ball flight. So if posts were higher it'd hit that part of post.

missing easy free's will not help them, get that and 2 behind.

You don't get many chances like that against Kilkenny, especially with 10 minutes to go when you're still in it, Galway should have had a goal and a point there, expect KK to pull away now

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 5,402 ✭✭✭Tinie

Galway have had their chances. No one to blame but themselves really.
