Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I am looking for any recommendations for a decent Vet practice in Lucan, I have recently got a 4 year old female cat, and would like to get her checked over wormed etc.
So any cat owners in the Lucan area who could recommend a vet they are happy with?

    Thanks

Beaufield Vets on the Lucan Road in Celbridge are very good.

There's a new(ish) vet clinic open in Clonsilla, called Just Cats Veterinary Clinic. Not sure what it's like, but I'm planning on bringing my two for their next check-up. Might be an option :)

Palmerstown vets are brilliant I cant recommend them enough and they are only 2 mins from the dual carriageway easy to get to.

So no recommendations in Lucan itself? Isn't their a vets surgery on the road near Woodies heading down towards the village?

Hermitage Vets in Lucan are good, I am involved in rescue and I know some people that use them.
I live in Tallaght and was using a vets there for 20 years but have since changed to Palmerstown as they are brilliant

I used Hermitage a few months ago when my cat had an accident. Couldn't fault them, very nice to deal with, modern facilities and no problem getting appointments. Is Mitchell's vets still at the bottom of chapel hill opposite the boys school? We uses to use them years ago when we had our family cat and they were fine too but I don't think they did daytime appointments.
