Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My employer doesn't really need any notice. Should I say that or tell them they need 1 or 2 weeks?

is that email not just to tell them how much notice, if any, is needed by your employer?

It's an email asking IF you get an offer how much notice would you 'hypothetically need'.... Previously they made phone calls to check this information seems they're going with emails this time around...

No idea, buddy, just tell them the truth :) I have quite long notice period myself, so they need to hurry up if they want to see me down there anytime soon :)

    You're right.

For me the most important bit of info was that my vetting has been finished and the file is now complete. I've been waiting for that for a good while, so that's a big relief :)

I got to stage 5 in late April, so it's been what, nearly 5 months now. My guess it's due to the fact I have relatives living abroad and have lived abroad myself for a good while, surely it didn't speed up things.

Yeah they have been telling people with addresses abroad that it may be a while.. I have no addresses abroad or any of my family so hoping mine will be done fairly quick

I'm mid 500s.... should I take it I'm in or not get my hopes up....

I'd take it that you're in if I were you. I also got the email confirming my vetting is complete, and my oom is in the high 600s. So fair play to you, hopefully I'll manage to get in by the skin of my teeth too :-P

Yea everyone who is living in Ireland! It's so you don't get stationed near any relatives to avoid any possible 'conflict of interest'.....

Not 100% sure to be honest... we need to give their occupation and the degree of the relationship too so I imagine the full address or as close to the full address as possible...

Ok so the predominantly white runners... I have black/pink new ones which I have accepted that wont do.

But trying to find a good pair of runners for arch support that are predominantly white is proving difficult... but my question is will I get away with a pair that are white with a little bit of grey or other colour on them and have completely black soles?

This is kind of what I am looking at:

    Hey guys
Just wondering how Vetting is done when a person has lived overseas? Do they just get a police check from those countries?
