Lots of things happening but this Saturday in the town park looks great.
Sword fight displays, falconry, bronze age casting and this:

"Kids always digging up your garden? Can't keep them out of the dirt? Well we're just going to make that worse! We're looking for all future archaeologists.
Join Carlow County Museum in a special excavation of the Town Park at our "Carlow - A Journey to the Past" event this Saturday. Experience how an archaeologist works using the very same tools and handling artefacts. Hear about the objects and sites that were excavated in County Carlow. Complete your own special site report on what you found.
Event runs for 45 minutes with the first session beginning around 12:30.
Open to 5-12 year olds. "
