Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rooney has been poison again today

At what? Nothing is coming into the box to him. The one clear chance he had he scored but was apparently incorrectly called offside.

Valencia highlights so far consist of almost falling over the ball and a 5 yard pass to opposition player.

Rooney looks lost out there, awful again.

Valencia pace to burn + space + tired backline = pass backwards

    Evans? Valdes?

Herrera (it bothers me something wicked)

I tell you what, if Bruges were in the Premier League, that Memphis lad would look really good twice a season.

    Newcastle deserved their point.

We are very poor in the final third.

Shaw is going to be a superstar.

Understandable considering the performances over the last 6/18 months

Poor .. very poor. For all our posession in good attacking areas we should have created many more chances and scored a few goals... the quality of final ball was abysmal... ok Newcastle parked the bus for a good hour and some but still...

    GREAT RESULT!!!

    25% defensive quality.
    75% luck.

It's so refreshing to see a Newcastle team actually compete and show up for the fight.

And we were so close to winning it and all.

Delighted with that given the crap we served up last week.

Mitrovic was outstanding. My man of the match. Worked his bollocks off up front and in defensive areas.

    Very promising and pleasing.

Newcastle celebrating like they won league

Considering who their manager is, where they've been the paat couple of years and how hyped and expensive this United team has been I don't blame them.

Newcastle just showed us Spurs fans how **** we are to not get a result against an average united side.

A solid point for both teams, both set of fans go home happy.

If Hernandez wants to know why he'll mever be first choice at a big team, he got his answer with that chance. You have to be taking those.

Couldn't be more obvious that Scholes had a fine chunk of money bet on Man U in that match.

I thought United were unlucky. Dominating possession is a bad thing it seems. Once our attack clicks, which i think it will, then United will be a force. Not really understanding the negativity from Cole and Scholes. There is a clear plan under Van Gaal. It is now really obvious in the way United are trying to play. Let them at it. I think United are going places despite drawing a blank today.

That was a different Manchester United. A lot of positives to take from that game. 2 wins and a draw from a game we could've/should've easily won.

Could be worse. Could've lost 2-0 at home on the first day of the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Just one of them days for Utd. I actually think they will go close enough to winning the title. They are no where near the force they used to be but the league isn't as strong either.

Out in force? It's been very mild. Aside from that post there is very little that could come under the category you are suggesting.
