Clearing the app cache, clearing the data, & force stopping it fixed that for me.

Credit cards can't be used to top up, so just use my debit card?

Get error when adding card, is it because identity is not verified?

Shouldn't be. Is it a debit card you're adding? Credit cards aren't allowed.

First purchase with this card on ASOS, saved myself almost €4. I can see this saving me a good bit over time! Thanks OP!

That didn't work for me. In the end I requested and tried 4 different codes and the 5th one worked.

The verify your identity part of the app kept crashing for me so logged a support ticket. Was then advised to send 4 photos to their support desk (front of ID, back of ID, selfie and selfie with ID beside face) and they verified it within 6 hours.

Just waiting on the physical card now.

Finally found somewhere where the card does not work. Jervis street parking machines. I assume it is because the machines use contactless with contact I.e. You put the card into the machine but it never asks for a pin, it just spits it back out at you paid.

We have a car park like that here in Waterford and I've used my Revolut card in there a few times with no issues at all

No, just insert the card on entry to car park and then insert on exit again.

I'd doubt it - too much of a liability to allow people top-up from credit card with charge backs etc

Is this card subject to govt stamp duty at all?

Heading to Las Vegas in a few weeks - anyone have any issues in any stores / hotels / ATMs?

Won't be using it to check-in, have my own VISA CC for that.

Haven't used to card much apart from online but two pieces of information for you re Vegas: the card is considered a Credit Card for store purchases and the cheapest on strip atm is at Casino Royale and the M&M store.

Thanks! What's the main issue with the stores treating it as a credit card?

No issue, you'll be asked most places if it's Credit or Debit you are paying with

I mistakenly said debit (assuming it was a debit card as you can only spend money that you put on) and didn't realise why it was being declined a couple of times

None, they just ask you credit or debit before the transaction and the card is treated as a Credit Card.

They charge shortly before dispatch (6-24 hours before)

Thanks for that. I made a typo when first registering the card to revolut itself and even though i since corrected it, it appears i need to put the typo in the billing address when adding the card to sites. Paypal still wont accept the card probably for that reason.
