Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You've got to pick 3 of Silva, Sanchez, Pedro and Benteke if you want him really. I'd be inclined to get rid of one of the first 3 options because there are more good midfield options than strikers.

    Shaw > Kolarov

Sagna > A 4.5 defender who rotates well with Gomez and Martin to give you a 2 out of 3 rotation with Kolarov not rotated.

Is it worth Getting Pedro in For a -4? Have Depay and can go for Yaya or Pedro? Have 0.5M in the bank

If it was Yaya for -4 or Pedro for free I would still go Yaya.

Francis? 3 Bournemouth players? Another price rise on Sagna would bag me 0.1m. prob will happen to kolarov first though...sigh

    Def happen to Kolarov first

    HOLD OFF ALL PEDRO TRANSFERS

    See injuries thread

Edit: Carry on, seems to have been someone having a laugh.

Delighted I held off on Pedro, though it would've been stupid to do it before today given the fact his price was frozen.

    Edit: NEVERMIND.

Lads there is nothing on ben dinnerys twitter about a pedro injury . Nothing on chelsea twitter or website.

Nothing anywhere. I guess some people get a kick out of that for some reason. Weird.

Glad I said "see injuries thread" rather than "he's injured"

If people are putting fake tweets from Dinnery for kicks then there'll be serious frowning going on.

Yeh they're on the ball there!

Anyway back to transfers! I did Kosc>Kol before the Kosc news started coming through probably would have done it anyway think it was the right play.

Depay to Coutinho - West Ham's defence are somewhat shambolic and he looked good on Monday

And now it seems Kompany to Kolarov for a hit. He's essential, and it would only take one assist (and a bap) to pretty much make up the hit.

You don't need to change from Kompany to Kolarov for a hit, wait until tomorrow evening if you are that keen to bring him in.

Should I transfer out Erikson for a minus 4 given that he's injured? Sterling is the most likely target if I do.

Balls out guys. I messed up.

Posted it as a joke - thought I'd be online for a while and would have put an end to it before it unravelled but got distracted in work and only copped it when it was too late. I've learned my lesson. Hope I didn't cause too much stress. As wonski said I'm a (semi) regular here, I meant no harm.

Erikson out - yes. Injured and spurs not playing well.

Sterling - no. Better options available if you can afford them.

As a regular, or a semi regular, you should know better tbh.

No harm done to me, but there are people out there whou could make a transfer or two.

You should know better and act accordingly as a long time poster.

You got distracted at work? By work maybe???

I thought about that, but I'll hold that transfer until after the internationals and I have another transfer in mind for then. I think I'd be taking a minus 4 one week or the other so might as well do it now.

I can't afford Sanchez or Silva and I can't get Pedro because I already have 3 Chelsea players (plan on doing Fab for Pedro when I can).

I might just hold on to avoid to -4 hit and see how the internationals effect people injury wise.

I'm half thinking of bringing in a Watford defender just in case they park the bus and leave with a 0-0. That way if Aguero blanks it's not all bad. Crazy talk right. But how many time have we seen a result like that come left of field when an inform team seems like a absolute shoe in for a big win and the total opposite happens.

Definitely nothing could go wrong with that plan.

Don't do it. Watford have the longest odds of any team to keep a clean sheet this week.

I should definitely take a -8 and triple up on them right?

Probably throw the triple captain on them as well for the craic :pac::pac:

If you did and it came off it would be unreal! It would be the sort of thing you could happily retire on as you know FPL could never get any better!!

Ha. I'm wildcarding over the international break so I'm likely to do anything to my team for this gw but that's a step too far.

If my season is still on the ropes come January I'll be tempted to try some maverick moves like that!

Thinking about bringing in a Chelsea player for a 1 week punt before using the WC tomorrow.
Is Costa the best option? Or bring in Pedro?

No Chelsea attackers at the moment. Have 6.5m in the bank

I think that Hazard is still the best option if money doesn't come into it. The reason why many are gravitating towards Pedro now is due to his cheaper price. Costa next and then Pedro for me.

A lot would depend on who makes way. Who would you be dropping in midfield or upfront to make way?

In a similar position myself. If I don't blow the freebie on a Watford defender in a 1 week punt then I think I'll go for Pedro.

Looking like Pelle, although Home to Norwich he's been hit and miss.

    Front 8 for clarity is:
    Payet Mahrez Silva Cabaye (Fletcher)
    Diouf Aguero Pelle

Cabaye/Payet/Pelle are on the chopping block

You could do Fletcher to Pedro and use the all out attack chip.

If not keen on that then Payet & Cabaye have tough away games. I would chop one of them before Pelle. And I would probably say Payet as Liverpool (0) have been better at the back than Chelsea (-7). Hazard over Pedro for me.

I'd go Hazard for one of those probably.

This appealed to me for a minute there but realised Pedro is 9.5m. I only had 4.5 itb :(

But yeah I think Payet may be the one to go. Although Cabaye plays a lot deeper, plus could pick up a yellow. While Payet is on set pieces and if Liverpool do concede, which is inevitable at some point I fancy Payet to be involved.

    Decisions, decisions...

Was going to apologize for getting your hopes up....but you did say you had 6.5 itb originally :)

There are a few guys under 9m that might be worth a try for that move. But you probably don't want more decisions.
