    Meet the latest additions; two males approximately 7 weeks old taken directly from the street yesterday so still very hissy and stand offish but coming along slowly. Their mother will be neutered tomorrow before going into a separate foster home.

    @Nody,
    Oh my God, they are just adorable.
    They will have no problem getting homes.
    Would offer, if my 15 yr old Carmen had no objection...
    She rules this roost.
    Your kitties are really head over heels material.. hope someone else sees it.

    Haven't posted in here in a while

    Our cat, Morris, on the right, befriended a neighbour's cat when he was a kitten. We hadn't seen her in a long time and feared they may have fallen out as they got older.

    Was delighted when I spotted her in the garden the other day and brought Morris up to her to say hello. Possibly not as friendly as before (they used to rub noses when they met!) but he didn't run her and sat down happily near her

    Ghost, the Myshall puppy farm dog that came to me because his owners couldn't cope with him was entered into a fun dog show at the weekend, held by one of the sled dog associations that I've competed with this season. He went into most appealing eyes and won his class, so then went into Best In Show - everyone said it was a foregone conclusion, he is such a popular dog :D

    So proud of this boy, he did a scent nosework workshop the weekend before, and was brilliant, did a very short sled dog run on the Saturday morning, ran a mile canicrossing with me in a relay on Sunday morning, then into the show ring on the Sunday afternoon and behaved impeccably. Love, patience and boundaries and he's a different dog.

    My great pal of a dog "Honey" aged nine years and eight months visited the vet today and had to get the cone of shame (size - small cat), because of conjunctivitis in both eyes. Four day sentence and not best pleased. She got weighed also at 1.8kg: less than two bags of flour.

    She's a mini tea-cup and within the correct weight range for her size.

    Cleo, the brown one, is starting to get into it but Jasper is having none of it.
    Maybe becuase it's getting into winter here and they've not been down on a warm sunny day as yet and it's just too cold and windy. Or maybe they're just pussies.

    Yeah, it's the first time I've embedded a photo, only seems to be viewable on the mobile app. Apologies
