    Terms and conditions

How it will work on match day

After the winner has been selected and their parents contacted they will be asked to sign a parental consent form. This covers parental consent, image rights and to meet the requirements of the GAA Child Protection & Welfare office.

Each winner will receive their match tickets, and instructions for the day, via post. A kit for each flag bearer will be provided on the day. Winners will be advised to be in their designated seats in the Stadium with their parents/carers at an agreed time before throw-in, where representatives of the Camogie Association and their Child Welfare team will escort all flag bearers down to the pitch. Following the arrival of the 2 teams onto the pitch, the winners will be escorted back to their seats.

    General Terms and Conditions

    1. The promoter of this competition is Liberty Insurance Limited.
    2. Winners must be aged between 8 years and 12 years of age.
    3. Four tickets in total will be provided as part of the package (flag bearer plus 3 guests)
    4. Only the parent / guardian (the person with 'parental responsibility', i.e. the person by law who has legal authority for the child such as the birth mother) may enter their child.
    5. The competition does not cover costs such as food, travel, accommodation & parking.
    6. Only one entry per child.
    7. A co-branded Liberty Insurance and GAA kit (shirt, shorts and socks) will be provided for the child on the day to change into, but children should wear their own trainers.
    8. Liberty Insurance cannot take any responsibility for losses or personal injuries related to the prize.
    9. There is one flag bearer opportunity for the Galway vs. Cork Liberty Insurance All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship final.
    10. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
    11. By entering their child into the competition, the parents / guardians are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the competition, including consent for Liberty Insurance to use a photo of the flag bearer on Liberty Insurance's Twitter site @LibertyIRL, its website and any other promotional material, subject to approval in advance from the parents or guardians.
    12. Images: if a child is not allowed to be photographed/identified (i.e., the child is subject to family, care or legal proceedings) or if there is a dispute by parents / guardians over the consent, then he/she would not make a suitable Match Day flag bearer and should not be entered into the competition.
    13. Flag bearers must not be subject to family, care or legal proceedings which would prohibit the child appearing in the public domain.
    14. Winners must be available on the day, accompanied to the match by a parent/guardian and in their seats at an agreed time before throw-in.
    15. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. An entry is classified as a pledge to attend the camogie final on the 13th of Sept with your daughter, niece or granddaughter.
    16. This competition is open between 24th August and midnight on 30th August. No entries will be entered into the prize draw after this date.
    17. Winners will be notified by personal message at 1pm on Mon 31st of August.
    18. Winners may not sell their tickets and acceptance of tickets constitutes acceptance of GAA Ground Regulations and GAA Ticket rules. Full details available on www.camogie.ie.
    19. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance, and if the winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period, or if the prize is declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at the promoter's discretion.
    20. Entrant details will not be used for any other marketing purposes and will not be disclosed to any third parties.
    21. If any of the above clauses are unenforceable the rest of the terms and conditions shall remain in force.
    22. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of a competition the decision of the promoter will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    23. The name of the winner may be obtained by any entrant to the competition by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Camogie Flag Bearer Competition, Marketing Department, The Liberty Centre, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
