    Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy AV receiver and a set of speakers (5.1).

After googling around it looks like Yamaha RX-V477[1] and Wharfedale DX1 HCP[2] speakers are the way to go for me (700€+ is already a bit above of my initial goal, but it looks like it should be worth it). I have a few questions:
    - do they match (in terms of power, resistance, etc) to each other?
    - do cables come together or should I buy some? If the latter, can I order cables that are cut to my needs and ready to use? (also, which one should I choose?)

    Thanks in advance!
    Karol

    Hi Karl.kwiat.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Both are very good products but unfortunately the RXV477 has now finished and replaced with the RXV479 priced at 479.99 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201534-rxv479.aspx

There are also some of the RXV377 left in stock priced at 229.99 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200458-rxv377.aspx

The replacement for the 377 is the 379 coming in at 379.99 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201455-rxv379.aspx

The wharfdale DX1 is the pack to go for in the price range. Very well reviewed and currently priced at 369.99 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-11539-dx1-hcp.aspx

We currently have the RXV377 and the DX1 for a price of 589.99 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.com/package/system-savers/home-cinema-separates-bundle-deals/pah012234

Any of the these units would pair together with no issues.

The DX1 pack does not come with cables so they would also need purchased.
Speaker cable starts from just 1.29 per meter
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-900187-symphony-100.aspx

You would also require a sublink calbe for the subwoofer 7.m meter priced at 27.99 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-10538-aud100-75m-sub-cable.aspx

I hope this is of help, any questions please let me know

    Hi Kenny,

I searched the site few weeks earlier and didn't realize RX-V477 was no longer available. Pity, as the new model, which is pretty much the same for my needs, is much more expensive. Also the DX1 setup is currently 399€, bad timing I guess :)

Anyway, thanks for the info, I've placed my order today.
