Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been mulling over whether to post this or not for quite a while now, I re-read the forum charter/rules and I still don't know whether it's allowed or not - if it isn't, I apologise, and please mods remove my post or let me know and I'll delete it myself right away.

I don't know if anyone has done any reading on pet food companies' position on animal testing their products, I just posted something about it on the Vegan and Vegetarian forum when the subject of vegetarian/vegan pet food came up.

Basically, some of the main pet food companies
actually test their food on pets/lab animals, some of them through vivisection. There are some that do have the 'bunny' logo on their packaging that says 'not tested on animals', but again, some of those were found to have melamine in their products, which directly caused the death of more than a few animals, and were fined accordingly.

I just felt it'd be 'food for thought' over here too...
