    Hi All,

heading up for the match on sunday in Croker with the family. We are hoping to arrive before noon and park around the mater/ drumcondra or there abouts.
Normally we head into town to get something to eat but this time would prefer to stay out around the stadium and surrounding area and get something to eat. Can anyone recommend a nice place for families to get a nice bite to eat...thanks in advance

I used to go into bleeker street on dorset street, decent cafe type food.

Good few places further down in drumcondra, the cheese pantry etc

Woodstock in Phibsboro does a decent meal. carvery-type food, prices around €10 for a good feed, and there'll be people going in and out from the match so you should be able to get a seat. 10/15 minute walk from croker. It's a solid choice IMO. They do sandwiches as well I believe, but I've only ever gotten dinners in there so I can't comment much about that

Might be slightly out of the way if you park around drumcondra, but if you're early it'll make no difference

Anderson's Creperie is pretty good too, the one in Drumcondra.

The Gallery Cafe and Restaurant up at the Regency hotel the far end of Drumcondra is a nice spot.

Likewise, though small, Kennedy's in Fairview.
Likewise, though even smaller, Da Mimmo on the North Strand.

Out Marino way, the Green Land cafe and Bram's are both good spots for breakfast/brunch.

But you wouldn't be walking to any of them from the mater, bar the regency.

Unless by Drumcondra the OP meant the Pat's end.

The Lovin Spoon, North Frederick Street. Lovely grub reasonable price.

Thanks a mill... Loads of options there for us. Appreciate it. Like sound of blecker street or the phobsboro place

The White Moose in Phibsborough, on the North Circular. Great pancakes, great eggs benedict, coffee great too.

Independent Pizza Co on Dorset St is very good and gets extremely busy but if arriving at noon you should be ok.

Lovely food company in Drumcondra is really good. Across the road from the Bishops palace.

Came into the thread to mention this place, I love it.

Would agree with the above recommendation for White Moose Cafe. Porterhouse North also does decent grub, as does Fagan's in Drumcondra.
