Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Club-Brugge-vs-United.jpg

The Red Devils travel to Belgium this week with a 3-1 lead from the first-leg, where a Memphis Depay double and Marouane Fellaini's goal gave Louis van Gaal's side a commanding lead.

The Premier League giants also won both their opening league fixtures this season but were held to a goalless draw at home against Newcastle on Saturday.

Brugge, meanwhile, have already lost two of their opening five league matches this term, including the 2-0 defeat to Zulte-Waregem at the weekend, as the side struggle to replicate the form that saw them finish as runners-up in the Pro League last season.

On the team front, United will again be without Phil Jones (thrombosis), while Van Gaal must decide whether to stick with Bastian Schweinsteiger, who made his full debut against the Magpies, or revert to Michael Carrick in the holding midfield position.Ander Herrera has been confirmed to play by LVG.

Marcos Rojo, though, is still lacking full fitness and is unlikely to be considered for a start this week.

For Brugge, Timmy Simons remains unavailable after picking up an injury in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, while Brandon Mechele is suspended.

A weather warning is in place for the region tonight with thunderstorms and torrential hail forecast which could make things interesting.

3-0 Fellaini to score the perfect hatrick.

    One off his shoulder.
    One off his shin.
    One off his arse

Backed 1-1 2-0, 2-1 all in Brugges favour. Should be an interesting game

That Fellaini goal in the last minute will have more than paid back his transfer fee.

No way back for Brugge now.

Couple of early away goals to settle it quickly and to put the Brugge fans in here out of their misery please.

Brugge will score early leaving us all nervous before Rooney scores off 2 wicked deflections after the hour with all his fans claiming he is back. Woodward leaves 10 minutes early to complete the signing of Neymar.

You don't have to state the amount in €'s if you're tipping. He said .5pt-1pt which should be enough for you. I'm sure you would be familiar with the points system If you have any knowledge of betting.

Back to the football, i see United sneaking this by a goal in a poor game.

The only interesting part of this tie after the decisive first leg is how people pronounce Club Brugge

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Herrera, Carrick; Mata, Januzaj, Memphis; Rooney.

    Ronnie Whelan?

    When will they learn?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Stewart Robson on my particular stream believes that if the scores stay the same, we'll get extra time.

He must think that this is the 1st leg.

Some of the Manchester United players, particularly those in an attacking role, look a bit sluggish.

United have been quite poor so far, how out of character.
