I know Bruges arent the best opposition but people were complaining about Rooney not scoring goals, and not playing well against Bruges in particular last week, now he's scored a hat trick and people are just blaming a poor Bruges side. Yes defending has been poor but give Rooney credit, despite the criticisms he's made good runs and taken his chances.

Yeah I flicked over after saw RTE on the title of the thread. They asked did he think Bastian coming on and Herrera moving would make any change to United play and he said something along the lines of no it would still be slow boring play just to see out the game. Slowed down a bit now but what a flying start to the second half with those two goals.
