Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Good morning everyone

Recently I completed my move to Galway and I am curious if I will be able to pick up much?

I should also mention that I have a double discone antenna and from where I currently am I can see right across the city and I think I can see the radio repeater used by Galway amateur radio I presume I'll be able to pick up aircraft in Shannon?

You can hear our repeaters at 145.625 Mhz and 433.350, and local planes at 122.500. Theres also an APRS repeater on 144.800 but thats digital. Other than that there some taxi services, the harbour stuff etc. I often scan around when I'm stuck in traffic, which is often. But I rarely hear anything interesting to be honest, besides the above. And yes you should be able to pick up Shannon too!

Feel free to PM me if you have any local questions that might be off topic here.
