Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Gatland and his giant mauls.

Just to point out, if anyone says Toner brings nothing to the team after watching the last 5 minutes, you're a bloody moron.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

    that was fair enough.
joubert was giving them a try no matter what

QF defeat to NZ I reckon. Scrum, maul and Line out are muck.

Ref calls that as stopped once, then it stops again - and is then allowed to keep going? Ah, here.

Wales by far the better team so far.

Why not try and rob one of them when the maul is under pressure?

Not happy with this. Missing Toner out there

QF defeat to NZ I reckon.

Huh? Can't see why anyone would favour France over us.

Yeah probably. Everything is permanently broken forever.

I think it's worth having a 20 minute look at Henderson at 6 with Toner and POC in the row next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,723 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Toner being missed big time, not only in the maul but also the line outs have been shocking so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

    White was useless here...

If it was a competitive game yes but its clearly not in plans for today

Nothing wrong with that. Stopped twice and is able to go on.....
Surprised there's been no card. 3 penalties on Ireland's line.
2 different offences I think. Not enough reason for a yellow

    Doom awaits us. DOOOOOOM!

Based on 25 mins where loads of players are getting their first it out.

Yeah, they were alright but England were terrible. They almost lost a massive lead at the end. Plus it was only a warm up. By now you should know that France completely change from week to week.

Wales' line speed is really good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,375 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

No accuracy from anyone in their own role. O'Connell needs to deploy the hairdryer

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    Strauss taken out illegally there.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,140 ✭✭✭fitz

More forward passes getting them over the line

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Nice one POM and Fitzgerald

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Real lack of urgency there. DK holds up Halfpenny for a few seconds and not one supporting player gets to him.

Only correct thing is we're missing very few tackles..

    Brilliant from POM

Good work from fitz and Pom

They only need one good group game.

If Ireland are trying not to show their hand before the World Cup, they are doing a very good job. Either that or they are just very poor

    So do we

Robson is really struggling with telling Fitz and Earls apart.

That was because Strauss was taken out off the ball illegally. We had a choke tackle lined up and were prevented from completing it illegally.

A little worrying, we look undercooked. Hopefully regroup at half time.

    Murray and Sexton frustratingly rusty.

One player. Murray took his time clearing the ball. We should have had 3-4 lads arriving within those few seconds when the opportunity was there.

Wales frequently illegal, we need to be playing the ref better.

That's not enough, that's going to happen nearly every time against quality opposition, you have to swarm to the ball to get anything done from those contestables, there was nowhere near enough support.

    How far offside is Lydiate?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,723 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Bit of an elbow up there on Luke's tackle?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

I think people need to calm down here a bit. We've been rusty and a little off the mark physically. But we've 5 weeks before we play France.
