Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Y'know, I think this is great.
    It's exactly the kind of match we need to play at this stage in WC preparation.

    We've really struggled in games where we're completely closed down for space and being smashed on the gain-line; if we're going to get beaten in the WC this would probably have been how.
    It's a golden opportunity to learn how to deal with that and will really benefit us in a months time.

    How the utter hell did CJ award that penalty? At one point, Jenkins was lying on the ruck and had actually taken his feet clean off the ground. Mad.

    Aside from that, really sloppy play from us. POM got a rush of blood and ran miles away from his support and then McGrath marched back in contact.

    Phenomenal passage of play there from Tipuric. Great tackle followed by the steal.

    We shouldn't be letting him get away with that, he needs to be combatted by a tight 5, when he's blown out of it he can't compete.

    If this is the kind of refereeing we'll see of the breakdown in the WC, best to see it now and figure out how to combat it. Tipuric clearly off his feet there but we need to get to the ruck quicker

    He seems unaware that the law states you need to be on your feet to compete. Tipuric was horizontal there. Ireland should have dealt with him but still.

    Because he had the ball? Nothing wrong with that, just because he went off his feet doesn't make the turnover illegal, don't fall into that trap!

    If he was horizontal before he had the ball it would have been illegal. He's gotten a few breakdown calls wrong but that has a clean steal from Tipuric.
