Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool badly need some width out there, it's all way too narrow.

We sold our only proper winger and then signed a big target man...

Benteke is disciplined enough to stay in there, stay forward, in the box.
He has not dropped deep to get a touch, so he has had few touches.

Pretty much back to the same ****e as last year. Poor defending and lack of creativity. Game is more than likely over already unless BR does something he hasn't done in some time and adapted mid game effectively to try and get something from the game.

Pretty middle of the road sort of performance.

Just two spectacularly stupid pieces of defending from Gomez and Lovren putting is in a hole.

We don't have many midfield options and Lucas can't last 90 anyway so I think we need Ings on for him at half time.

Maybe even Moreno for Gomez. He's actually played quite well apart from falling asleep for their first, but he carries no threat.

We've Arsenal'd this so bad it's not even funny.

Should bring on Moreno, Gomez isn't suitable for playing so high up since he can't cross with his left.

    Great first half.

    Moreno for Gomez.
All the play dies down the left side when he gets it at the moment

Kop will need to suck balls big time in second half.

I had to read that three times to get the non filthy meaning that you meant.

Wrong tactics by rodgers today, no need for a fcuking dm at home against west ham, when we went 2 down lucas should have been hooked straight away and bring on ings, also moreno on for gomez, this is a disgracefull performance bought about by **** tactics

Liverpool aren't even giving the ref a chance to award them a couple of offside goals.

As bad as Liverpool have been, great credit to West Ham. They've been superb.

I'd take Lucas off and get Ings on.

71% possession and not one chance created.

Ings and Moreno need to be brought on

If it stays like this there is a good chance we'll lose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,689 ✭✭✭bur

Rodgers is usually pretty bad at subs too. He'll probably bring on Rossiter and Ibe.

Can't send the same team out, need big changes.

Ings and Moreno warming up at ht

Not enough going forward, losing the ball too often and then our defense panics.

We need another attacker on. Can taken off perhaps at 30 minutes?

Bournemouth put 4 past these, have to go on the attack now. Ings & Moreno for Lucas or Can and Gomez. Maybe Sakho for Lovren as well.

Hats off the the Hammers, Liverpool have been terrible, Lovren wtf.

Thats a discussion for after the game, cant change anything about that at half time
Game is crying out for Moreno on the left, loads of attacks going down that way, then breaking down when Gomez gets the ball. The kids lack of attacking prowess has been a bit of an issue today.
Get Moreno on for Lucas or Can, , get some attacks going down the left, and hopefully that will open up some space on the right for Clyne to get down the flank.

    Edit: Called it!

People are losing the run of themselves a bit because of the scoreline.

It's been a bit of a flat display but it hasn't been generally atrocious by any means.
It hasn't been vintage, but there's been plenty of good interplay between Milner, Coutinho, Firmino and Can.

It's not easy to break down a team like West Ham, particularly if they're sitting on a lead.

You're just going to lose games if you concede goals so stupidly.

This isn't like last season where they attacked in waves and cut through us like butter.
This is a bit loose with the ball up front and 2 stupid **** ups.

Good to see Moreno and Ings coming on; a bit more urgency and pace going forward is what we need. How Dejan has kept his place is a mystery; he must have some dirty secret about BR which he doesn't want revealed. That's the only explanation I can think of as to why he's still playing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Moreno for Can, gone to a back 3.

    No Ings.

Not really. Liverpool have been muck today and been punished. They've been muck for the majority of their three other games this season and haven't been punished.

Rodgers really has a lot of faith in Gomez.

Ings? Origi? Why bring strikers to the club if you're not going to play with more than one when you're at home to the likes of West Ham?

Maybe they should ask Aspas, Lambert, Balotelli & Borini why they never got games.
