Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    For Ramsey :)

No point taking off our second most likely scorer imo

I'll say one thing, as a long suffering Newcastle sympathiser, it's great to see a side with a bit of fight in them, haven't seen that in years.

Arsenal need to get Giroud on here.

    Benzema, you say?

    Explain please.

After he got the 2 yellows in first two games, it was constantly being spoke about, meaning every challenge he does will always get looked more harshly

Ramsey has been so so bad for us today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,561 ✭✭✭Duff

One thing I will say- McLaren has at least instilled a bit of fight into us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,334 ✭✭✭Ardent

Never a red for me. There nowhere near enough momentum for it to be a potential leg breaker. Ruined the game.

Yeah he hasn't been at the races at all this season. We're still a couple of players shy this year. Could do with another two signings. Although I think we'll only see one more come in.

No ****ing intensity again. Expecting to stroll it against 10. Incredibly frustrating cos 10 minutes in 5th gear and you'd blow Newcastle away.

Arteta for Coquelin, Giroud for Walcott.

    Chamberlains been very disappointing too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

Not an inspiring side so far.

He could easily have broken his foot.

Not every red has to be a leg breaker.

It was reckless and imo there was intent.

I disagree. That was a fully deserved red. Reputation or not.

Giroud for Coq at half time?

Coquelin's been great IMO, even if he's not really needed in his usual role. Ramsey's been poision, get him off.

    Never a red.

Really thought that having the Ox down the right, we would have a wide right player cutting the ball in. Unfortunately he seems about as bad at staying right at Ramsey is.

Ah ffs, looking at it again, it's more of a rake down his leg than any stamp. Only arsenal fans and impetuous ref seeing it as a red.

I just saw the red card incident. Definite red card. The Newcastle player knows full well what he's doing, no attempt for the ball whatsoever. Very sly.

What are you on about? It doesn't have to be a potential leg breaker for it to be a red.

The only call Marriner has got wrong was the penalty. Stonewall foul on Bellerin.

Quick look in this thread alone, only Arsenal fans, "impetuous ref".....add to that Chelsea, Liverpool, Sunderland fans, plus a few I don't know that think it's a red. Oh, and the commentators. Oh, and Howard Webb. But yeah, you're the one who's right.

    Arsenal win, I'd say.

Coq has been brilliant, just dont think he might be needed in this half.

Yeah he will be needed, Newcastle will try and catch us on the break for the rest of the game now. We need Coquelin on too keep that from happening

it's a leg breaking tackle and he's trying to do it as well. Definite red without doubt.

Some woeful misses by Walcott. Not good enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

Ox has been worse than Ramsey

Mariner is clearly showing away bias!

    oh wait!

Seriously this guy is losing the game

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭Ed Winchester

    Harsh on Santi there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

Delighted for Wijnadum. Deserved that for his reaction (& the crowd) getting Santi booked for nothing.

Yeah you're red cards should only be for challenges that will break legs.

Own Goal is our top goalscorer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

I think that was on target. He should get that one.

OG with all the goals for arsenal so far this season. Awesome.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

Arsenal deserved that slice of luck. Newcastle deserved it too for their rough house cynical approach to the game.

And new striker? Who needs one when you've Mr Owen Goal in your ranks. Top scorer now with 2 :p

Ox off for Giroud Walcott reverts back to right. On 60 min.
